We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.
Therefore, in using the site, you must agree to do your best to uphold these community guidelines.
Note that what you find here is written and moderated by anonymous people on the internet.
Therefore everything you read here is very likely unverified, rumour, speculation and/or downright false.
In continuing to read anything here, you must therefore agree not to take anything you read here as factual and that you will exercise due caution, diligence and common sense before acting on any information you may come across here.

Is it still Delhi Judicial Services?
Points to note:
- Only lawyers on the list
- The jury was top notch: Uday Kotak, Nita Ambani, Harish Salve, AM Singhvi etc etc.
- Both Symbi grads, which shows that you don't need to be an NLU grad to be successful. Also, in comparison to many of the others on the list (e.g. children from the Jindal and Birla families) they are both non-nepo kids. Thus, sheer hard work and merit counts.
- One partner writes her pronouns on her LinkedIn bio, which shows that one can maintain progressive beliefs even in neoliberal capitalist organisations like law firms

1. Thread title: 'Advise needed'. The correct way of writing this would be 'Advice needed'.
2. It is 'decent', not 'descent'.
Maybe start by learning how to write decent English, and things might improve.
What I should have done: just dinner at the Taj with family and rest in the bank.
You get 2k bucks! Youuu also get 2k bucks! Everybody gets 2k bucks!!!
And put the rest towards my do not touch savings.
BTW funny to see Birla’s reaction to Kim. Least interested. 😂
good news- you wont be affected by most of it really. Who is the president in america is of little consequence to law students in india.
Its repeated practice that improves your drafting thinking.
You can either find such a senior person willing to teach you
Also an edtech company in India has a program where you get to draft a lot and have someone check your drafts and tell you how to improve. I will not name the company but do your own research.
2. Faculty and Growth Opportunities
3. Placements
Sorry to break it to you, try out at other firms
Literal s&r pays 19, can you
