We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.

It's gonna get tougher and tougher to earn and live well in future. Given this, is it pragmatic for us to place money over love? Marry a guy/girl who is affluent but who we don't really love so much, over a guy/girl who is middle-class or poor?
Asking this as two girls have shown interest in dating me: one who is rich but who I am not attracted to, one who is a simple middle-class girl but who I am attracted to.

But Palestine is a more divisive issue (unlike LGBT rights), so I think it will cause needless controversy.
So do students in law schools have these biases too? I mean both girls and boys here.
How much does Argus pay at PA level and what does the partnership track look like?
Insights will be much appreciated. Thanks!
But please be clear to not expect sanity, good culture and sleep.
How is the work culture, timings, etc.? is it as bad as the other CAM offices?
Do they have any local clients based out of Hyderabad or do they act more like a backend office to the Mumbai, Bangalore or Delhi offices? Is there any scope for growth? are they expanding like other firms like Tatva Legal or will they be stagnant?
Lastly, is the pay on par with the other CAM offices or is it less than the standard pay?
I'm not some great non partisan teacher of the year. I just happen to really like what im teaching and I get excited when any of my students really like it too. Thats all I want really, enthusiasm and honesty. Students really underestimate how starved most law school teachers are for that. Most days when I look at my class, like 60- 70% are not really in the room, they have their screens up, theyre on social media, theyre watching their netflix, theyre gazing off into the distance having turned their brains off. I can be authoritarian and try and force them to give up electronics- but I cant stop them from day dreaming. I cant do mind control- I cannot force someone to like and be interested in something they arent interested in. No body can do that. Teachers arent supposed to be life coaches, I cannot teach you criminal law and inspire you through pep talks every ten minutes. Your inspiration is really your problem.
The other 15-20% dip in and out, they might be listening but they dont contribute. Theyre mentally present sometimes and absent sometimes. If these kids pull their act together- they might be able to make something out of themselves. only 10-15% of students are consistent with the effort, actually enthusiastic about learning, and show up to class ready to learn. And those students are much better than what I was when I was a student, theyre absolute rock stars who will get every opportunity they want, absolutely nothing can hold them back. Theres basically no teacher on campus that dislikes these students. Everybody roots for them. If any of my students who wasnt putting in effort did start to- id be overjoyed to be honest. If only 39-40% of your answer scripts are even halfway decent- youll be very happy when anyone gets answers right. Its dreadful work reading hundreds of answers in a term and most of them are half assed or just bad work. I mentally celebrate every time I get a good answer script.
If you think all your teachers are partial and dont grade fairly- the problem might be you. You might be going in not understanding expectations or having some basic skills to meet them.
In conclusion your argument has lots of flaw and bias.
I doubt that reputable law firms would profit from desperate law students, so I'm curious: How is it that law firms don't always seem to know about an intern's previous work? This is especially puzzling since all the internship opportunity provided by the journal is posted actively on LinkedIn and Instagram. While I'm not certain if all accepted interns are posted on the journal's page, there's a possibility that one's involvement could become known by the HR. Why isn't there a system to blacklist interns who use these means to gain internships?
Dont violate animals- they literally dont have the ability to refuse you. Sicko.

All the best kids.
"progressives" have made a deal with the devil with this guy. He might write their dogma into law now and then making sure that they can subvert the democratic process- but this kind of rule making will bring about the end of the constitution and our institutionsd no matter what lip service he does to both those things. In making this deal they are no worse than the government which seeks to rule by executive orders as opposed to passing legislation after a debate in the parliament.
Chandrachud has a legacy drive and wants to be known for championing the new civil rights movement ^(tm) but this stuff isnt it. Its a mens rights movement thats rebranded. The tide has turned in nordic countries, its turned in england, the scandals of rachel levine and the WPATH will make it turn in America. Chandrachud will be remembered as a selfish cowardly person who only cared about his own image rather than the rights of women.
2. What do you mean by better off with firm like Crawford Bayley?. Crawford has a v good CM practice area. Most of the law firms don't even complete the due diligence, and complete the transaction without approvals and mandatory certificates, that's not the case with CB.
1) Central Universities - Established by the Parliament of India
2) State Universities - Established by the Act of particular State Legislatures (All NLUs are included under this)
3) Deemed to be Universities - Section III of UGC Act - If they get Government/UGC aid/fund, it will come under Section 3 + Section 12(b) of UGC Act - Deemed to be Universities will not have their own Act. They will follow UGC Act of 1956
4) Private Universities - Section 2(f) only of UGC Act - Private Universities will have their own Act passed by that Particular State Legislative Assembly
All NLUs will not get Government/UGC Fund. So, some NLUs are passed by the State Legislatures only under Section 2(f) which depicts it as a "University" - Some other NLUs get Government/UGC fund, those will come under Section 2(f) + Section 12(b) of UGC Act
IIULER is not a National/International University. It is just a Private University under Section 2(f) of UGC Act which is passed by the State Legislature of Goa under Act No. 16 of 2021 (Goa Legislature) - IIULER does not get any aid from Central/State government and will not get Government/UGC Fund under Section 12(b) of UGC Act
It's this mentality that is causing this. Partners are finally closely monitoring intern performance for hiring rather than en masse hiring at Day 0, especially after the 2023 scandal. While the college tag definitely still matters, it's not the golden gate of glory anymore.
Buckle up and impress with work and show your worth!
