Public Sector Undertakings for permanent jobs have to mandatorily hire through a competetive exam. It's patently illegal what ONGC is doing. Time to file a writ petition against this.
You can't Dole out permanent government job via campus placements.
Privates law firms, companies can hire however whomever they want. Government hiring has to follow protocols. A Government PSU for a permanent job has to give equal opportunity and they can't discriminate on basis of college.
NLU Delhi in the past did the same - they preferred Foreign LLM grads as faculty and authorities immidiately shut down the hiring.
Earlier SEBI used to hire via campus. Court and Government had to step in to stop the nonsense.
Thanks for the information. Will start legal action soon.
Ps: this is wrt to the internship tasks that I have allocated them. Am not very aware of their merit in moots.
the other guy is now blackmailing her with a video of them kissing. She doesn't want parents to know.
There's no sure-shot formula for getting an internship. Just try to send out personalized applications and increase the number of attempts. A lot of it is just damn luck.
You can also intern under likes of Zoheb Hussain who appear against advocates representing these law firms.
This is the most reasonable and workable way I'd say. You can also intern with small firms like wadiya, Chandhiok, etc
You cannot accuse a listed company of scam without any basis and not expect to get sued
As law students, learn at least who to pick on. Everyone is not your hapless profs.
It is cheaper to hire trained talent laterally from small firms rather than trying to train law school grads with no knowledge but a chip on their shoulder
His arguments are impeccable
Market is growing but campus recruitment not growing - how do you explain that?
Shooting the messenger does not help
Not looking good, guys…
There is also the fact that most of the toppers in class 10th goes for science and then sits for JEE/NEET. The same is not the case for CLAT. So, yeah, cracking CLAT is not the same as getting into a CSE in a top IIT + The competition in top IITs is much more intense than that in top NLUs. Look at the suicide rates.
