Combination of Akshay & Shaneen will do wonders to the Bombay market.
When CAM doesn’t acknowledge their star practitioners even after 3 decades of service, they truly deserve such losses !
Cyril thinks he is immortal, has himself & his stooges to blame for the catastrophic exodus it has been seeing since early 2026 ! More to come :)
Nothing wrong at all if he lives in luxury. We don’t want our leader to be some Mahatma Gandhi fakir baba type, wearing a loincloth.

RULING: The Single Bench of Justice M. Nagaprasanna held, “The expression used, may be inappropriate, indiscreet and best avoided. Youthful vocabulary, however, cannot by itself become the gateway to criminal prosecution, unless the essential ingredients of the alleged offence are demonstrably present. The criminal law cannot be employed as a bludgeon to punish every social indiscretion or linguistic impropriety. It must remain reserved for conduct that squarely falls within the four corners of the penal provision.”
ANALYSIS: IMO this is a deeply problematic ruling. It’s unacceptable for men to objectify and sexualise women based on their looks. Furthermore, while we may see actresses and influencers receiving the word “hot“ as a compliment, some women may be shy and introverted, and be extremely uncomfortable with such comments from males. It’s perhaps worse if the comment was made publicly, rather than through a DM.
It’s a patriarchal mindset that thinks these comments are okay.

However in the world of academia, where first impressions are less important, which requires careful thought, sustained reflection, constant revision of ideas, this is not the case. I don't see a student whose written and verbal answers to a professor are unremarkable, but who takes the effort to dress well, getting a recommendation letter or better marks over a student who may dress less formally but whose intellect is up there.

Maybe this answers
Administrators are focused on the money and often at least mildly racist. Paying more than locals for the same lectures doesn't mean we hear them differently. Is it unjust? Yes. Does that mean no one else should get the education you and I got, even if they can afford it, because we are feeling bitter about inequality that is outside our control and has been here for centuries? No.
It is neither the students, nor the CJI who called it that - it got entrenched because of the continuous reporting surrounding NLS.
Please stop with the TAE crap. Today, there was a session in which the instructor was repeatedly asking what debt and equity means, there were hundreds of people on the call and not one person answered. Do you really think we are listening? Do you think the pressure and timelines for our deliverables are such that we can listen? TAE is a waste of time and money for the firm.
Lukewarm regards,
Associate
