But we only know of this case because he went public about it and spoke to the media. Perhaps there are many other cases we don’t know about, because the students didn’t go to the media?

Which then begs the question about NLU/Jindal students with US LLM admits. Many of them espouse left-wing views on social media: anti-Israel, anti-Trump, pro-Zohran, pro-AOC, pro-LGBTQIA+ rights etc. What’s been happening to them?

5th year intern at a Sr Advocate's chamber - have no college classes rn, so with him.

I reach court around 10am, and am with sir till 4:30pm when court gets over. Would again sit in his chamber for an hour perhaps till 5:30/6ish, for any conference/work given and then go home, and again back to his chamber at 8/9pm - and there till the conferences are there, usually till 12. Thereafter, back home, and work again maybe for an hour max.

Repeat again. Weekends are slightly relaxing.

Reddit will comply with Australia’s under-16s social media ban, due to begin on Wednesday, but says it is “legally erroneous” and “arbitrary” in its effect.

The company argued to the eSafety commissioner that its platform was a source of information, not primarily social media.

Documents obtained by Guardian Australia reveal the company said it was “not centred around real-time social networking among young people”, but rather a “pseudonymous platform organised around sharing information”.

Reddit announced on Tuesday, one day before the ban was due to commence, that it would comply with the law. But in a post on the platform that confirmed the decision it also outlined its objections.

New users in Australia will be required to provide their birth date on signup, and existing account holders will go through an age-prediction model, Reddit said.

“The sole or significant purpose of our platform is to provide knowledge-sharing in timely, context-rich conversations; interaction between end-users is simply an incidental step to enabling this primary purpose,” Reddit said in the letter.

These are people who spent their teens watching Andrew Tate. Social media has radicalised them into misogynistic and violent creatures, in the same way it has radicalised ISIS terrorists.

We need to identify them and send them to rehabilitation programmes, because their misogyny is a DISEASE that needs to be CURED. No placements for them until they complete a de-radicalisation treatment and get a fitness certificate from a psychologist.

Over time, people always recognise the difference. Teams & clients naturally gravitate towards those who can actually add value, and the self-appointed “bosses” eventually expose themselves through their own work (or lack of it). In law firms, courts, or anywhere else, substance always outlives bluster.

It is worth it if you focus purely on the academics and networking part of college, moving around to do other things on campus including college societies will take up enough of your time and sanity thereby excluding you from the top 10% (conservative figures). College offers good opportunities to grow and learn along the way and eventually get yourself in a good spot at the end of your final year depending on whether you want to pursue law firm jobs, practice or go for masters (abroad or domestic) provided you remain focused on your goals, there are many things on campus that can distract a person.

That being said, if you have got admission in any other college at equivalent levels, you should go for them, placements have not been the strongest suits of SLSP as of now. Wishing you the best of luck!

I was from the very first batch of the LLM-IBL Course, you will not be getting much assistance in placements and internships, it would be something that the students of the batch work for, on their own.

IICA also caters PGIP much better than the LLM-IBL batches and their placement methodology is also geared towards PGIP (opportunities being mostly from ARCs and IPEs). Hence, it does not work for LLM students who wish to pursue profession of Law in the Commercial/ Corporate fields.

Fee wise also the 14L which were paid by 1st batch could not be redeemed due to lackluster management and non existent placement drive. I don't know the situation about the second batch though and a third batch has also started.

Both the institutes are not inclined to make much efforts for the long term success of the course, which is evident by the course covered by IICA which is not beneficial for LLM scholars and will be better for someone who wishes not be a Lawyer but a compliance professional.

This is despite the constant feedback the student body has given to the institutes for providing a competitive course structure which can actually be beneficial for post graduates.

See if you can get into the LLM in Insolvency course introduced by NLU Delhi as it also gives you a PGIP certification (although its first batch is yet to be completed and their results are yet to be seen).

You are better off avoiding the NNL-IBL offered by NALSAR and IICA.

Look at their business structure, OP Jindal made cross holding in each other's business, no brother can burn other brother without burning himself, also a decent stake in all business is with Savitri Jindal who will not let brothers spar with each other. OP Jindal was wise beyond his years, he used game theory to its best and made a structure where they are incentivised to work with each other and suffer actual losses if they decide to cut off each other while still being able to maintain healthy competition. Look at Jindal Group structure and you will see how well it is executed, really hats off to whoever came up with it.

I’d say Day 3 interviews were not even based on personality, they just asked us “we’ve read your CV, what else is there apart from that which would interest us” and “why did you choose these practice areas?” Apart from that, they weren’t interested in asking any questions whatsoever, so in my opinion, it completely depends on the counsel who’s taking your interview. (The interview only lasted 5 -7 mins at the end because, the counsel was not interested in taking more time and, there was no HR round. So, I guess, choose some points about yourself that would impress them in that short amount of time.) This is as far as Trilegal Interview goes. Khaitan’s shortlist is yet to come out, so can’t speak for that.

Fresher recruitment for the batch of 2027, along with a MAJORITY of PPOs and Campus Placements will be given in and towards the end of 2026, not 2025.

And the example of people fighting in NLU for politicians damn. Education isn't equal to wisdom and this example proves that, Indians whether highly educated or uneducated are emotional fools who can easily be exploited by the system and they would rather die rather than acknowledging the same.

A basic education in economics will tell you that a falling local currency against the global currency is not only a problem, but an economic catastrophe. We are a net importer of oil and gas, paid for, mostly, in dollars. Therefore a falling rupee against the dollar makes oil expensive and therefore everything expensive (as the entire modern civilization is built on usage of oil). Separately, India doesn't have much to export. It doesn't have a tech stack unlike US, EU or China, and nobody is spending a time om Indian body shopping IT services companies anymore. Further, a falling local currency makes foreign investors exit, as they cannot make dollar gains, even if the market does well. This has been demonstrated by incessant FII sellings. The Indian markets have been one of the worst performing markets this year, massively underperforming even other emerging markets.
