It's a very "what you make of it" program. But the TISS brand name does help with bagging jobs in the policy/development sector (like Vidhi). Some of us had fun and are doing well in the policy and social sector space, but I have friends who regret joining the program. I feel the value addition from a TISS LLM is greater when you are younger and fresh out of your undergrad degree. It did not make any substantial difference for my older batchmates who already had some work experience.

I am a 2025 law graduate currently based in Delhi, seeking to join a litigation chamber led by a young and ambitious advocate with an established practice before the Delhi High Court, Supreme Court, and Tribunals (particularly NCLT/NCLAT).

I have around 10 months of litigation experience, having switched from the corporate side to litigation during my final year of law school. My earlier work exposure includes internships at AZB & Partners, Trilegal, Phoenix Legal, and Talwar Thakore & Associates, where I handled corporate and commercial assignments.

At this stage, I want to build a long-term career in original-side civil and commercial litigation and arbitration. I’m looking for a chamber or office where I can get maximum exposure, substantial responsibility, and consistent courtroom involvement.

I’m comfortable with research, drafting, and client-handling tasks, and I enjoy long hours and demanding work environments. My only goal right now is to be in a setup where I’m pushed to learn quickly, trusted with real work, and mentored with a sense of purpose and fairness.

If anyone knows of such offices or advocates, I’d be grateful for your suggestions or introductions.

A big one. Sudip perhaps did the most among his contemporaries at S&R to keep the firm growing. His contribution on the admin side and being the voice that reasoned with the Big three was unmatched, particularly after Uday’s exit. The firm of course still has great lawyers and will continue doing good work but the firm culture changed once Uday left and it will change again after Sudip’s exit.

So basically, I am a 4rth year student in a non-NLU college in Delhi. I have prior experience in the field of arbitration and mediation and have done a prior internship in Vidhi (Centre for Legal Policy) in Delhi under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Dept. I am searching for firms or places where I can get experience and work in the field of dispute resolution or white collar crimes- and by experience I mean work experience that will later on help me land a good job in this field. Any suggestions for where I could do an internship like this? I've applied to almost all Tier-1 firms for their dispute resolution departments and have acceptance for one of them. The month I prefer is Feb-January or March.
