The pass requirement for both GCs and OBCs is 45%. For SCs and STs it is relaxed to 40%.
So GC > OBC + SC+ ST and OBC>SC + ST, despite a higher cut-off.

First off, make sure that you absolutely kill it in every possible subject next year. I got a nearly full GPA in the next semester, and that clearly helped. You have to use that to build a believable narrative so as to say that while you had to take some time off due to a certain emergency, your command on the grades reflects that there could not have been an academic reason for this.
Then, just make sure that whenever you intern and wherever you intern, you make the absolute most of it. You ought to be so good that the question of checking your marks does not arise. If you don't wait for Day Z and get a PPO recommendation from your internship, noone will care about your marks.

- Drafting a UCC for the state
- Drafting policies for eviction of hawkers
- Draft policies for land use and new projects
- Draft pitches for investors
Given that governments in Bengal tend to serve for a long time, and that the TMC is finished, this will be a major revenue source for Vidhi for at least a decade.

The bottom-of-the-barrel student from NALSAR, not the best student from West Bengal. The NALSAR LLB tag will help you for the first 3 to 5 years after you graduate, and it gives you lifetime credibility throughout your life. It is unfortunate, but it happens.
You talk to an external recruiter, you will understand this better.

If not strictly policy or research I'd still want to use that experience to pivot to regulatory or advisory law firms there that do this sort of work (this is more thought out of them having the funds to sponsor me). The reason this is a little uncertain is largely due to my lack of on the ground information regarding Brussels or Netherlands (honestly struggling to narrow it down to one).
This is just "in the air" plans, but I'd consider a PHD only for largely 2 reasons (I'm hoping it's clear I have a general interest in research by now), universities have the ability to sponsor candidates and secondly most of these universities have centers of research in Technology law & policy where I'd also be able to work on this. I do realize that getting a PHD is stupendous amounts of work so this is a pretty "in the air plans".
If all hell broke lose and everything I've thought out of is full of shit I would pivot to any array of job (I don't mean minimum wage because that wouldn't serve any purpose) which staying there I realise is more "in demand" and that I had an access to, whether that be on transferability of skill, connections, luck or otherwise. (this if of course a horrible scenario I really wouldn't want happening, but then again I'm taking absurd risk in this climate).

To the question itself, I don’t think that Jindal is going through a financial crisis. On the contrary, they are making a lot of money. The question is whether this is being allocated for faculty and student welfare, or whether the money is being diverted to Jindal Steel. In other words, whether JGLS is being treated as a subsidiary of Jindal steel, rather than a nonprofit University.
TBH it was getting out of hand. I saw a few such reels and got bombarded with hundreds later. Something similar perhaps happened to one BCI uncle and he decided to out a stop to it.
Also conveys a misleading impression that law firm/chamber life is very relaxed. Only true for nepo babies.

The campus stays the same, while NUJS receives more funds and it becomes an IoE. NUJS could also receive more parcels of land. There is a plot belonging to JU just next to the campus.
