We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

Also,.does it really matter in the long run? since later on we will have to format according to the journal's citation.
Can you think of any other university in India where students would unilaterally write to Jagdeep Dhankarโs office and retract an invitation? All because he supported a law which the Supreme Court has also not interfered with? And which now has some justification after the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh?

Although our interactions were limited, what stood out to me wasnโt just his teaching (which was excellent), but his kindness as a person. There was an incident, something I would prefer not to detail, but during a hearing, he remembered something about me from two years ago and actively extended his support without even asking for it. That gesture stayed with me. That day, I saw beyond the professor and truly recognised the warmth and empathy he carries as a human being.
Also, he is very enthu, he ran several things in NALSAR from the front and back-end, which he should in NLS as well, but ofc, for next 2-3 years he should focus on completing his phD, publications and his research output which is lacking as of now as he did not do that for a long time, AND IT IS FINE.
Remember that the quality (and quantity) of work you do has the most impact on your final assessment. If no one from the team particularly remembers you or the work you did, they will not be inclined towards giving you a more permanent role.
just curious whether we have to go and ask for work or is it already allocated.this is my first tier 1 internship. in the past iโve had experiences where i was expected to keep asking for work as soon as i was done, it was considered rude to not proactively keep asking for work.
and in others, they just came up to me and gave it on my own, and when i was done they were like ok we, will let you know when we need you.
how does it work at cam?
should i be up and about, showing initiative, asking everyone for work.

Socially, since we live in a patriarchy, it is the norm for the vast majority of marriages to result in the woman quitting her job and focusing on the house and kids. This is still very much the norm in communities such as Marwaris regardless of economic background.
