What about the fact that many top international firms have TMT divisions? What about the fact that books on telecom and media law have been written in the US over many decades? What about the fact that many leading law schools worldwide offer LLMs both explicitly in TMT law (“LLM in TMT Law”: as f***ing obvious as that) or implicitly in TMT law (specialist IT and IP LLMs)?
Just because India is a technological laggard with a human development index comparable to the poorest African countries, and just because Indian law firms are medieval Lala shops with limited practice areas, does not mean that you can regurgitate disinformation out of your ass.

The expectation to be available 24/7 has become the silent standard, and those who dare to set boundaries are made to feel dispensable or "not cut out" for the job.
We are normalizing a culture where the "ideal worker" is someone who pulls all-nighters, shows up first, leaves last, and still answers emails at midnight. This isn't excellence, it's exploitation.
People are falling sick, mentally and physically, from this relentless grind. Yet the silence persists. Why? Because we’ve mistaken suffering for success.
It’s high time we demand a change. Even factory workers and corporate employees have regulated working hours. Why does the legal profession tolerate what is fast becoming glorified unpaid labour?
We must set boundaries. We must restore dignity.
Productivity should never come at the cost of a person’s wellbeing. The legal profession must lead by example, not lag behind in humanity.

The basis for this is Article 15(5), which was added to Article 15 by the Congress government in 2005. This article, however, exempts minority institutions like AMU, St Stephen's etc from reservation.
Nothing in this article or in sub-clause (g) of clause (1) of article 19 shall prevent the State from making any special provision, by law, for the advancement of any socially and educationally backward classes of citizens or for the Scheduled Castes or the Scheduled Tribes in so far as such special provisions relate to their admission to educational institutions including private educational institutions, whether aided or unaided by the State, other than the minority educational institutions referred to in clause (1) of article 30.
Next question is whether the reservation ceiling for the OBC/SC/ST category will be hiked to 70%, as demanded by some.
My earnest advice to the person in question is just leave and dont waste your time. No point in even being angry with the Partner or the team. Just look for something else. It is bad that you are being made to experience something like this so early in a career but pack up and move on before it gets worse.
I am a 3rd year student at a T1 NLU. I have secured an internship from Panag & Babu, and have been reading a bit about WCC for the same. I quite like the concepts in WCC (since it is a mix of both corp and lit) and am interested in seeking the general opinion on how to go about interning and subsequently a career in said field.
My main issues are as follows-
A. Who are the big names- both corp and lit? Additionally, what sort of a place in P&B and should I aim to get a callback?
B. What are the general prospects in the field down the line- career progression and relevance of the field?
C. What is the general compensation range?

Now I'm planning on looking for something else but not sure if employment is a viable practice area in the long run (although I'm quite familiar with it now) as the work here is quite on and off and not a lot of firms, other than Tier 1, have specialized teams for this.
I know in Gen Corp there will always be work, but since I have don't have any prior experience, not sure if firms will consider me. How do I go about this?
Any advise is appreciated!!
