I am a penultimate-year law student, and I got shortlisted for an interview with AZB. I don't know what type of questions they ask, whether questions from the CV and past internship experiences or whether they test corporate law concepts and awareness about the latest developments or not.

I've been practising before the DHC for the past year, but not with a particularly large chamber or a very seasoned advocate, and I haven't worked on energy or electricity matters. Given that background, do you think either of them would still consider me?

Bruh the land only came to us last year. Do you know how long approvals and construction takes in this country? That too with tendering and other processes which are necessary in public institutions. Hostels won't be ready till 2030 at least
Your seniors are to be blamed to a very small extent. But it is mostly Sudhir to blame. The University did not think this through. But at least they're providing off campus accommodation, which in many things is better than in campus one. Some of the faculty also stays off campus.
I am a 5th year bba llb student and i have plenty of ipr internships and as it has become my niche, i wanna know how is the scope in this field. I have heard that its not as rewarding as other fields and i am very stressed now. Should i try to get corporate internships or should i countinue with ipr. Please let the know the salary of firms like remfry and sagar, anand and anand etc. and how to get recruited there.
I have decided to go with NUJS.
In case someone in the future faces this dilemma, my reasoning came down to this -
1. Hostels get better after 1 st year
2. Slightly better placements
3. Slightly smaller batch size
4. Better faculty
5. More autonomy + More active student body
6. Better location and connectivity
In its current state NLUJ is definitely better, and while NUJS has "legacy", the multitude of problems its currently ridden with (infra, VC, admin etc) might not be worth justifying for the sake of "prestige".
One can only hope that the new administration does this university some good. This institution has immense potential but is currently punching way below its weight.
