We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

I am SA2, Tier I in the M&A practice - 100 hours billable/ chargeable work per month.
I am also working in a capital markets team, but my team is non toxic and work hours though sometimes rough are generally better and good.
No associate is going to spend a fortune on their wedding if they don't have generational wealth.
How much is spent?
Is there a lot of show off?
Would like some tea (no names of people, but you can name the firm).
In short - yes, there have been wholesale exits since the beginning of 2020, after a certain scandal. Almost all the stalwarts are out except for Nishchal. A few old timers who are sticking around are NMD's friends and family (I do not include Suril in that group). Virtually all practice areas are now fossil remains. The so called foreign offices have 0-1 associates - some are just post box addresses for business cards. Most clients have taken their mandates elsewhere - to other well known firms or startups by NDA alumni. While hardly anyone from my days has stuck around, what I gather from my friends over there is that the good thing is that work is not at all hectic, but so is the career growth.
I find "Except for Parul there is no notable person in that practice area" super ironical, given that the series of exits began right after her entry. Not difficult to guess why she is the only 'notable' person left in the area!
So if you are looking at any opportunity with NDA, then first sort out your short and long term objectives and then take a call. E.g. if you plan to go for LLM in a foreign univ, then not a bad place for a year.
Even as NLUs are not some magically perfect, happy ending places but still...better to do law from NLUs rather than random colleges.
Jibes of gobar chap and gau mutra (amongst others) reportedly used by her.
When called out she claims account was hacked.

So I am in currently in class 12th with commerce and this year's CLAT as you all know was shit and nothing can be made of it other than experience atleast for me, so Should I also take class 12th again in humanities from NIOS and then give CUET with Humanities subjects as my core? And If I get a BA from Hindu college or any other DU college after doing all this would it be worth it as after BA I would also like to pursue 3year LLb(can I do it simultaneously with BA?). I want to try UPSC and JUDICIARY both as my future employment aspects. Please do share your valuable experiences and advices.

In this case if this is true, which I'm not sure, kudos to KCO for having survived long enough and still being compared to what's been seen as a new gen law firm (and full appreciation to them for the changes in the industry they've made as this young a firm) in Trilegal, I've always seen KCO as being different from other lala firms in SCAM and others.

What could such a gig be? Some drafting work on Upwork? Some business maybe?
Profile:
Education - 90% in 12th, currently at a Russel Group uni with a high 2:1 in my first year.
Exp - No legal work experience, just looked after my family’s real estate business during my gap year. Extracurricular - Mentoring scheme with an MC trainee, tons of open days at MC and US firms, and numerous debating and MUN awards.
My Questions:
a) Can I apply to Tier 1 law firms in India? Am I even eligible, considering I’m only two years into my LLB in the UK?
b) If yes, do I have a chance with Tier 1 firms despite minimal legal experience or an NLU tag?
(Apologies for the lack of research, I've only just started looking into the legal market in India.)
