If students were asking for subscriptions to journals or software that does qualitative or quantitative analysis or anything like that most people would support it. This isn’t like that.

Objectively, I’m happy to learn from them and learn to work with them, in ways that make sense for both older and younger professionals. They do lack maturity in various situations which if they keep an open mind they can pick up easily from the rest of us.
They may not have too much work, but then that’s an entirely separate issue having nothing to do with their secretary or the work culture in the team.
