This seems a bit too high, if pre-tax. If you earn 20 crores a year, after tax at 33.33% (for ease of calculations, tax can be higher), you are left with 13.33 crores. I doubt even in good years, any of them is close to crossing 20 crores pre-tax, so the idea that any of them gets 15 crores post tax is verging on the edge of fanciful. Life has surely changed, but not that much.
On the contrary (fortunately), I had a pleasant interaction with all the associates I worked with and they were quite appreciative of my work too. I guess it depends (like everything else in this industry)

It's been 4 months now and although I'm quite satisfied with the exposure and learning curve, I'm very dissatisfied with the pay. It honestly isn't even enough to cover rent + household expenses + daily court travel expenses. My previous savings are being depleted so I'm thinking of switching now.
I'd like to stay here for the litigation exposure but I don't like living like a miser who has to think thrice before spending money when I'm with friends.
Would it look bad on my CV & during interviews if I quit my current job just 4 months in? Should I apply to Dispute Resolution teams of smaller firms?
