If you are failing in the first year itself, it means you are not serious about studies and passed CLAT by fluke or rote learning. Many students think that admission into NLS is automatically a pathway to a good job, without understanding that you need to put in lots of hard work in those 5 years. If the other 100 students could work hard, then why not these 20 also. It simply shows lack of hard work or commitment.

Crumbling infra is a problem inherited from the previous administrations where no construction or renovation was done for decades. Now finally Sudhir has got funding for upgrading the acad blocks and hostels. Library is already done. Construction won't happen overnight, things will take a couple of years at least.

Total 120 got selected in nls batch 25 ,best out of 60000 as per merit . 20 students failed in the first year itself and will pass out with nexr batch .Which is 1/6 of the total strength of students. Give any such example happened before in NLU or in top institutions anywhere . One student even tried to commit suicide . In fact , that time students were just getting used to this new mode of online learning and adjusting themselves in this environment. What advantage these students get after enrolling in the so called top institution, when they can not secure even a job with their batch mates. This is not level playing field .In Nalsar and nujs ,how many got failed in first year ? Very rarely or no one. Now he has put the risk of career of these students . Even with higher rank ,their only mistake was to join nls .

People don’t have to accept your characterisation fo any dispute as a golden truth. People get to decide among themselves if free grades , cheating on term papers and attendance fudging are reasonable or legitimate asks.

Which is a good thing, I would have thought. I am studying at the graduate level at one of the London law schools. An academic I have had a chance to work with and get to know studied law at the undergraduate level at the same uni (Hebrew University of Jerusalem) where Joseph Raz studied law as an undergraduate before going to Oxford for graduate work, and where he returned to teach for a few years after Oxford studies, before going to Oxford again (where he spent the rest of his career, pretty much) to teach, research and write. This academic in the UK who is an alumni of Raz's undergraduate uni teaches Jurisprudence to undergraduate students, and says that the reputational clout from Raz's alumni status not withstanding, the teaching he (my academic connection) encountered at Hebrew U in Jurisprudence a few years after Sudhir graduated from NLSIU was 'several degrees below awful'; my academic connection has made it his mission in life to teach Jurisprudence in a better way (to 'impart more knowledge', as he says) than what was done for him. IMV, Sudhir is doing an even greater service than my academic connection, who chose to remain in England and apply his exacting standards here, while Sudhir has chosen to go back home and clean stuff up there instead.

You are India's best law school. You should absolutely have good wifi connection- but respect doesnt mean handing out free grades, letting you cheat on tests and term papers, and giving you free attendance for every reason imaginable. Respect doesnt mean you get your way or anything you want. Respect just means professional behaviour. Has sudhir behaved unprofessionally? has he insulted abused or assaulted anyone? has he personally attacked anyone? No? thats it.

To be honest, he is right. You shouldn’t get to call yourself a National University, just because you have the term “All India/ National “ in your name. Nujs is basically a state university now, that is misleading recruiters and students alike. To find out more just google “VC NUJS (News)”.

Placement numbers should not be seen in absolute terms and instead as a percentage. NLUD has done fine. GNLU has done exceptionally well so it may seem like NLUD is falling behind but that's not the case.

NLIU over NLUD is a nonsense decision when the former was churning out fake degrees not too long ago. NLUD is a legacy institution which continues to be an academic powerhouse with a solid track record of placements. GNLU is a viable alternative due to its steady improvements in the last few years.

so a lot of connected peeps can't even get a PPO despite multiple internships, at which point their contacts beg the firms to give them one last chance by selecting through Day 0 and Day 1. I am a first year BA. LLB. student at a national law university. After declaration of results in December, it was quite a restless waiting period for the session to begin. I was excited initially but after spending more than a month at my law school I am feeling a bit disconnected from everything. I am not homesick but I am not able to feel relatable to anyone. Maybe because I'm 20 and most of my batch is 18 or there is something else I don't really know. People spend so much of time and energy to create so called aesthetic pictures for insta stories and that is their nexus event of the day. I am not trolling such people. Instead, I am jealous and confused as to why I can't find solace in such activities. People ask me to come to a nearby lake but I politely deny because I don't know what to talk to them. I am really good friends with several 3-4 year students but I can't always be with them or talk to them whenever I want because of difference in schedule. I don't know what is happening. I feel old and dead.

Khelif did take tests, Khelif did know that he was not female. His coaches knew he wasnt female. The italian and spanish teams knew he wasnt female. The IBA and the IOC both knew he wasnt female. Whatever distress this might have caused Khelif ( I seriously doubt an adult of 25 years didnt realise they werent female when they didnt go through normal female puberty)- that is not a good enough reason to keep punching females to win the olympic gold. There is a male advantage to boxing whether Khelif personally believes it or not. Khelif doesnt care about womens sport or fairness or the safety of other women competitors. Like is typical of male humans Khelif thinks his feelings matter more than womens rights and safety. Thats who and what youre supporting.
