Till yesterday people were salty about why NLS does not posts the stats and when we did, people starts coming up with BS lol
Quoting "45% of the batch placed" (as given in the poster) is a bit misleading? If it is 45% out of the students sitting for recruitments, then the same should have been mentioned in the poster as opposed to 45% of the total batch strength.
2. Yeah the LLB student that reached that reached the semi-finals of ICC did great but how does that matter for placement? One person's achievement can't define a batch, can it?
3. The team that won the international nego competition had people from both the LLB and the BALLB.
4. Yeah the highest score in the oral round went to an LLB guy but the top 24/25 ranks went to BALLBs. Do give a batch (sorry programme) team to the guy that scored the highest
Last time he won from Bengal with TMC support! What I don't get is this: he has enough money for the next 20 generations. Why does he need an RS ticket? How does it help him? Just prestige and bragging rights?

After a while once you start travelling more often, miles and reward points become more useful.
The pay, simply put is poor. There are no standard pay bands at any level. Have seen A1s in the same team getting paid anywhere between 8lpa to 11lpa. The bonuses are capped at 15% of your CTC, so go figure.

This is a way of trying to know if you are from an influential family. For example, they will be delighted with this answer:
“My immediate family is from a different field. My father is an IAS officer, currently posted as Home Secretary of Maharashtra, and my mother is a Vice President at Samsung. However, my uncle, who is general counsel of Axis Bank, specialises in this field and got me interested in it.”
Conversely, they will be disappointed with this answer:
“No, my father is a doctor and my mother is a teacher.”
Obviously I have these questions because I lack connections through family or socially as a first-gen lawyer. My no name college means I have no option except "going for" litigation
What is the general pay in Mumbai offered by independent practitioners? I know a senior who at 3 years with the same senior is getting a shit sum of 7500 p.m.
This senior is decent skill-wise but unfortunately (like me) is an introvert
Another friend and many others like this other person make around 10-15 p.m.
This is lesser than minimum wage for unskilled labour! Hearing about that 7.5k dude has scared me $#!+less.
