* ''Pro Bono Enviro'' National Moot Court Competition (March-April, 2011)- organised by School of Excellence in Law, Chennai since 2008, Pro Bono has seen steady increase in its participation over the years. The first edition was won by RMLNLU followed by HNLU (2009) and Nalsar (2010). In the 2010 edition 36 National teams including almost all the NLUs, ILS, Symbiosis, CLC and GLC, Mumbai participated. The level of judging is quite good with stalwarts like David Ambrose, V. Imbavijayan (Arbitrator, Vis - Vienna for the past 5 years), SC Judges, CJ of the Madras HC (A.P. Shah J. presided over the bench when he was the CJ at Madras HC) and even few lawyers from the US were on the bench. The problems for the first two editions were based on International Environmental Law and could be compared to Stetson Compromis (I have participated in both the competitions). I feel this competition could be easily compared to Tankha, Surana Tech, KLA, Bodhraj Shawney, ULC Bangalore. It deserves a place here.[http://www.hindu.com/2010/03/21/stories/2010032155560700.htm The Hindu] [http://www.hindu.com/2008/04/05/stories/2008040559450400.htm The Hindu]Text to be deleted or moved to separate page?
*S. Govind Swaminadhan Memorial National Moot Court Competition - Dr Ambedkar Government Law College, Chennai (GLC Chennai): I participated in this moot this April. It was the 1st edition and I can confidently say that it was one of the best national moots held last season. I am in the MCS of my college. So, I have a fair idea of many moots that happen. Having read quite a lot of problems last year, I would say this was the most interesting. It consisted of three cases (problems) between the same parties, the first was an arbitration proceedings, second and third ones (in appeal) were Court proceedings in intervention of the arbitration proceedings. Other arrangements including judging were good too. The rules were the most fair and transparent I have seen in any national moot till now. This moot should be in the same list as other top national moots. To be deleted or moved to separate page?
==Organisers==
The G H Raisoni Law School, Nagpur is one of the most prestigious law schools in the Central India region. It fills up the vacuum that is created in the region due to the absence of NLU's. It conducts a Moot Court annually each year around the month of February jointly in association with the International Society of Indian Law, New Delhi.

The organizing committee for the College, where the actual event takes place is dictated by their Moot Court Association. The Moot Court Association is essentially the organizer of the entire event.

The Moot Court Association of the College is available at ''mca@ghrls.in''

The G H Raisoni Law School Moot Court Competition is held at Nagpur every year.
The same is usually held in the premises of the college which are nice and huge. Though the premises are way outside the city limits and take around a 15 - 20 mins drive to reach from the city area, they are worth the distance traveling all the way for.
