Phoenix Legal was established in 2008 by three ex-Trilegal partners and one partner from Kochhar & Co. This firm has successfuly been able to establish its indentity outside its origins. The most senior partner is Delhi-based Manjula Chawla, whose focus is corporate and M&A. The sole Mumbai partner is finance and banking lawyer Sawant Singh.
