JSA, Luthra on KKR’s $22m financing to Archean Salt Holdings

J Sagar Associates (JSA) advised Chennai-based industrial salt producer Archean Salt Holdings in borrowing Rs 135 crore ($22m) from Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR), which was advised by Luthra & Luthra.

JSA Chennai partner Aarthi Sivanandh and senior associates Tamara Devanandan and Bhavana Elizabeth Alexander acted for Archean.

Luthra Mumbai partner Bikash Jhawar and senior associate Pulkit Sharma acted for old client KKR. KKR has also used AZB & Partners in the past.

The structured credit transaction, which will be completed in two tranches, will help the company to part-fund its expansion plans, reported the Economic Times.

Can aspiring law students and parents not read the outlook article itself?

But Sir! Outlook is one of the leading magazines of the Country, and it cannot be trashed away just because it does not subscribe to your line of thinking. Besides, the ranking appears to be justified, 1. NLSIU, 2. NALSAR and 3. NLIU, Bhopal (pride of the MP, Oxford of the Central India).

I know people get screechy and hormonal the moment they see their Law School not featuring in top 10 (or even 5) but please stop behaving so juvenile and just deal with it.
