Working hours are normal in D&D but it gets a bit late at AZB. On some days even interns leave at night at these firms. Pay is not equivalent to the Mumbai offices so that is there
Those with LLMs with NET should only be eligible for Lecturer positions (Salary Scale 10 and 11).

The amount of lateral Partner transfers and all is so interesting. That too of some huge names. AB and VB from Indus Employment to Khaitan, and just many more being regularly transferring elsewhere.
Fun times, is it not?
Abhishek sir left
Oly maam left
Suvir sir left
Saurabh sir left
Any one can tell why?
I have completed my khaitan internship and one of the associates I have majorly worked with is impressed with my work and said she will definitely recommend me.
I want to know what is the value of her recommendation apart from the buddy who is a senior associate.
Will HR take into consider the recommendation of the associate for ppo?
2. Yes. Do pro bono work.
All the best!
We spent a lot more time reading, virtually zero time online and a LOT more time hanging out with each other and talking and getting into trouble (although the kind of stories I can tell about some of the high and mighty law firm senior partners and advocates and judges of today and what they did in the 1990s is hilarious). Those are undoubtedly good things.
However, it's a joke to say competition and academic pressure were lower - if anything, they were higher, and there were far fewer opportunities after law school etc. There was also simply much less access to information - everything from exercising and the gym to politics, to how to get jobs and do well at interviews - only now we've gone to the opposite extreme.
All the best to all new A0s/ in houses/ other freshers. You'll cry, you'll struggle, you'll earn, you'll learn, you'll meet nice ones, not so nice ones but you'll always have one thing within - YOU. (I'm sorry for my aggresive approach in the first few lines but I got agitated at the response above, sorry in hindsight for the tone too).
Source- I've worked with him before as a research assistant on his research team.

If you wish to pursue LLM in the UK, I would like you to tell me clearly why you want to do it, send me your CV and your draft SOP. We can then have a chat.
If you wish to pursue PhD, send me your CV and the draft proposal (I would not be able to provide expert comment, unless its in my area, however, I can definitely highlight the portions that would need improvement, and direct you to appropriate scholars in the area in the UK). We can have a chat.
Will this impact NLS in any way? Will the Karnataka Govt. force NLS to teach Kannada in the first two years of the 5-year program, and even worse - make Kannada the medium of instruction? Being a state university, NLS does not have much say and will have to comply. NLS will not want to spoil the relationship with the state government - paani mein rahkar, magar se bair nahi karte.
Let the careers & lives of ragging seniors be rotten. Do not withdraw complaint despite any fear or favour. This is sheer sadism & it hurts at many levels, especially mentally. People will come crying to beg to withdraw, then all saam, daam, dand, bhed will be used but stand upright.
Be a complainant & witness if you see such things & support the victim. You owe yourself that.
