We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

No university in India, except maybe JNU to an extent is left of centre, forget far left.
All universities in India, especially the elite ones are controlled and populated by the elite of India, they can never be far left, they never were. You have to be a special kind of delusional to believe they can ever be far left. For the ideology is antithetical to the existence of the average Indian top 1%.
All of the things you are calling far left, are a just at best centrist, or performative mildly left thinking.
All universities in India have neoliberal thought embedded into them, neoliberalism is right of centre.
What you are indulging is in fear mongering and playing victim as an average RW genius.
Only few comments are helpful or good others nothing but shit.
NLS has a couple of projects where theyre using AI but nothing enough to talk up to a national magazine so much.

Besides your law school doesnt determine your career. Many people fo to DU, GLC, ILS and do just fine in their careers.
Till then work hard.

Having said that, nobody has the right to hurt you physically. If they do so, defend yourself, and inform the authorities. This is not prison.
You want help and reaching out to Alums
I secured internships by emailing out alumni as they were happy to help.
Yes alumni does help.
No infra. Academically not as screwed as GLC though since there are mid term and end term examinations.
Recent batches are huge af. But people have managed to get placed at good places on their own.
