We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

And where does one learn them from? Any courses or youtubers I need to follow. Anyone who's familiar with this, provide a blue print please
The T2 NLUs know they are nothing great, but kids from NLSIU, NALSAR, NLUJ, NUJS, their entire identity revolves around them being from such college.. move on
Also which NLU?
But generally, they hire only experienced lawyers in the mid-senior levels. There are times you may come across vacancies for lawyers with 1-3 PQE and all, but it usually ends up being filled by someone with PQE at the higher end of the range provided.
The best bet would be to work in firms or partners that specialize in media & entertainment or TMT in general, build up your PQE and apply to these companies when the chance arrives. You will have skills in the specialized industry domain of media & entertainment, but I also recommend seeking out opportunities to gain experience in general corporate compliance work as well, sprinkled with a few employment contracts, and disputes (notices, replies, etc.) either by the work you get or through your research. The nature of work that makes up the bulk of your in-house work would be mildly routine. Figure out that routine and make sure your basics are strong, and then all your niche knowledge would be a bonus when applying for in-house roles.
Atleast, that's my plan. :) See you there!
How do you get in companies like Netflix as legal councel.
Note: Those who can't afford Jindal or Symbiosis fee may avoid it for a low cost law school be it NLU or GLC/ DU.
Regarding MNLU Nagpur and NUSRL Ranchi, I don't think they should be put in Tier 3 looking at huge mismanagement, financial crisis, faculty quality and placements.
Only you guys can be this stupid
Each morning, check in with the team by sending an attendance email and asking for work. Additionally, you can review archived emails to see who used your email ID before you and learn about ongoing deals or matters. This will help you understand the previous intern's working style, which you can follow or improve upon as needed.
Good luck!
That's the problem. Very tough to get into criminal law. Internships are also not easy to get.
Name a few.
I think what he forgot is that they (usually (see King's College London's professional gutting of many of its non-commercial law module offerings and the exit of many of its law school-based criminology researchers, 2013 - 2014, as an example of an exception that proves the rule)) maintain a balance between jumping on a bandwagon and playing to their traditional strengths (teaching fundamental first principles), and, when jumping on bandwagons, they usually identify the right ones to jump on. Sudhir has done neither here. Sadly, I have now come around to the view that (what I like to call) 'the side of his brain that makes NLAT-type decisions' has become more prominent, and we are going to see the consequences of that in the next few years (if I'm not wrong, 2024 - 29).
IIT kgp campus is oldest , largest and has culture over more than 60 years . Interaction and activities within campus play huge role .

In terms of placements and opportunities
I have just finished my 3rd Year and am not from an NLU. Will be starting my first Tier-1 internship at KCo Mumbai soon. Hoping to get a PPO. Any tips on how to make an impression or generally handle my workload well? Also, any tips for the presentation at the end?
