NUJS is being plagued with many academical and administrative issues such as the VC PoSH with a senior professor fiasco, there are many layoffs and not much great faculty is teaching in NUJS whereas GNLU is hiring better ones if not world-class and given the support and funding GNLU is far poised to rise in the current times. Given BJP is in power for the 2024-29 term, it would ideally benefit for your study in GNLU for the simple reason backing and power. Kolkata is a mess and a degrading city with the dirty politics being played with NUJS.
For NRI-S seat opt for GNLU than NUJS, a little pinch of extra fees may hit but would be worth every penny.
these kids know the penalties for all employment laws, how is that talent? it's fucking rote learning
I am from a decent law college in Mumbai with a handful of litigation and arbitration internships. I don't wish to pursue independent practice but love disputes in the firm. How and when should I apply to law firms ? Any firm offering upto 50k is enough for me for starters. Any leads ?
Is there any chance for a call-back internship? Like how often do Tier 1 firms offer this?
Moreover considering I may grab a call-back, by when will they communicate the same considering my internship ends at the end of June?
I have been interning but haven't got a strong hold yet. Do people learn everything on job ? As I'm scared as it feels like I don't know anything and I'm about to graduate
I seriously thought it's the name of some Netflix tv series
Now, Iβm anxiously waiting for the revaluation result. If it doesnβt go my way, Iβll lose both placements, which will seriously mess up my career and mental health and everybody will judge me including my family, friends, peers, and connections I made throughout my internships if they get to know and i can't sit at home for 6 months cause I want to work, work and work.
Iβm super anxious, frustrated, and full of self-doubt. I worked really hard for these placements, juggling internships, college, and exams, and one exam has totally thrown me off track.
Waiting six months is going to be really tough because the thought of that failed exam is haunting me and I've no clue how to get rid of it.

I won't be attending my farewell and any meet-ups at all cause I'll be bluffing them.
Look at the profile of people that S&R takes every year. Most are top students from T1 NLUs.
I am waiting for there response. They are delaying everything .

SA2, Gurgaon office is wrong
I see IndCorpLaw, IRCCL, and other NLU blogs and journals and frequently try to see where I am going wrong. I have a few publications in journals (which are not very famous or esteemed), and I have a few drafts on which I am constantly working in my free time.
The problem in general is that all I am doing in the name of research is reiterate the same provisions, adding some judgements, past research papers, and some of my personal analysis before concluding that 3β4k word paper. This bothers me, as I'm not really adding anything new to the table. All I do is read and rephrase the descriptive information, add my interpretation, and get done with it.
Now I don't want to pursue academia, but I'm concerned that all I am doing in the name of research is just putting on a facade and not adding anything substantial. If anyone's had similar trouble, I'd like to know your experience and how you improved as a legal writer.
I am from a T3 law college and want to do better in life. Would getting an MBA be a good choice?
NLS: Has geysers in all hostels.
NALSAR: I am sure has better amenities and it would not be possible for you to come from a posh area to NALSAR every day.
NUJS: A 3bhk flat won't cost 45k in Kolkata.
Are you talking about NLUD?
