We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

im from a T1 NLU and i've interned at several firms in their Cap Marks practice, and CAM is definitely at the very top - along with S&R. S&R would be preferable given better culture and higher pay.
What was the age difference between the two of you? The only reason why this is relevant is to gauge how much of influence did you have in the first place to do this entire handholding seva from CLAT to PPO? If you had at that point in time, to hypothetically say some 4-5 odd years of experience, why were you even hanging out with a CLAT aspirant whi was either a minor, or barely out of her teens? NOT IMPLYING ANYTHING, but the matter of fact is she was always going to be immature for the two of you to have common life goals, even if you are not considerably senior to her.
If you're max upto 2-3 years her senior, take it from a bro with a few (prematurely) graying hair, you do NOT have as much influence as you think you do bhai
If you're more than 3 years her senior, don't bother wasting you're time on such a childish, bitter, and vindictive individual. Tu kuch bhi bol, jo bande is ladki ke saath ghumna chahte hai, woh ghumenge, saath saath teri udate rahenge
Mundi niche kar, kaam pe lag ja If that girl tries to come back, nip it in the bud, expressly
She might not be a lady, you will need to stay a gentleman for your own sake
No need for your unsolicited opinion.

Re: "seniors not getting respect". I'm a 'senior' here at NLS, and none of us demand any respect purely because we have warned the seats longer than some others. Respect is earned, and will be earned over time naturally, and not because you are a senior but for what kind of a person you are. Quit this shallow mindset. Earn your respect and do not count your chickens till they've hatched.
Here's another one, as you digest the above note.

What are some of the best partners?
IIULER was constituted India International University of Legal Education and Research of the Bar Council of India Trust at Goa Act, 2021 (Goa Act 16 of 2021) - It is the only PRIVATE UNIVERSITY in the State of Goa.
Refer UGC Website to know IIULER is a PRIVATE University: https://www.ugc.gov.in/universitydetails/university?type=0wBmFB1Rb4JGVzq9UP/iOg==
They are actually deceiving people and students by stating it as a Public University!
Never ever fall in their trap!

Obesity is a disease. That’s an objective fact. In a safer and better word, the moderator would have marked your comment trollish or contested at the very least.
So, if you are overweight, and those extra pounds and kilos are an outcome of a bad lifestyle, change it. Exercise, eat right and meditate.
Would love to hear your thoughts and inputs
In the end, the split in opposition votes, Muslim vote consolidation, doles and freebies, and violence of TMC cadre led to the TMC winning big. However, let’s also remember that NUJS is insulated from these issues. There is no question of NUJS students wanting government doles or fearing reprisals from TMC cadre, as NUJS is an island of privilege. Thus, the fight against NKC should and will continue. Just give us a few days to nurse our wounds and we will come roaring back! 🐅
The next steps that will probably happen are:
1. Approaching the media, which was busy with elections. If the local media are afraid, then Print and the Wire, which have already covered it so far, will publish it. Plus B&B and LiveLaw, though we know that a certain person at B&B is very close to NKC.
2. Write a second, folllow up letter to Chandrachud. The man does a lot of virtue signalling during conferences in Delhi but is quiet here. We need to keep up the pressure.
3. Discussions with Rohit Das about possible legal steps.
Don’t worry people: elections will come and go, but our fight for justice will continue!
I've put together a list of questions commonly asked in job interviews for associate positions. Please take a look and feel free to add any questions you think would be helpful. Let's make this list as useful as possible for everyone!
Thanks.

I have been watching the video conference stream of this particular court hall where the matter is posted to, so I can get an idea of who argues well before this Judge. Shortlisted couple of them, but apart from their Linkedins, I cant seem to find their contact details online. Appears they are part of various law firms. Is it a good idea to cold call the law firm and ask them for these lawyers?
Also what should be the expected fees for a writ petition? A range I should expect would be good to know before approaching the firms.
Do HC litigation firms charge by the hour like corporate firms do, or is it a fixed per case or per hearing fee like its common with SC advocates?
