We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

If I start emailing now, can I go for an October Internship? Also, suggest some good firms for beginning internships at big law firms and the department.
It's relevant for NUJS because a BJP dispensation will replace the TMC people on the governing body overnight with BJP or pro-BJP people, e.g. Vikramjit Banerjee, Sanjeev Sanyal etc.
Note that the order deals with a technical issue of limitation, rather than the merit of the allegations.

Internships will come and go. You need to work on that voice inside. The inner voice need not be bubbly and positive all the time, just calm.
And yes, there are bad internships. Why won't there be?
P.S. - speak to a nice therapist. And. Stand in front of a mirror, and address yourself, speak to yourself like you would speak to a friend in the same situation, with kindness and understanding. It will seem funny, but it will help more than you think.
In any case, everyone be safe and cool please.
Will it be a good idea for me to do some internships in Delhi or BLR just to demonstrate to recruiters that I can deal with challenges with ease and am open to new experiences?
This right here. What Darkseid wrote. Please try that if you haven't. You are a kid right now and perhaps not seeing things maturely.
Technical matters aside, I do not really know what is the exact situation in your home. However, you are probably staying away for most of the year anyway with law school and internships. If possible, try to adjust a little bit during the short period of time you do reside at home. Parent-child bond aside, it would also help your financial situation for the next three years at least, since other than the university fees, you would also need extra money for your other needs, internship travel and stay etc. It is often the case that the parents do love their children and want the best for them, but cannot understand that they may be alienating the children because of misunderstanding. Try to talk to them about it, if you have not done so already. Best of luck!
Are you blind? It is us who will get them out of paying this. A dead obvious solution is trusts, which are already in use by anyone serious about their money. Another easy one is registering a political party (you don't have to actually content elections and there is no tax on its income).
No one will ever do something they have a disincentive to do if they can conceivably avoid it. Assets in India? Move assets abroad (security of capital is better anyway?). Move assets to crypto. Arrey pagal ho kya? Sorry I'd prefer the money to remain in the economy in productive assets and capital investments.
And who are these leftist "economists" anyway? Who died and left them in charge of national policy? These are academics/nobodys, who nobody cares about and nobody will listen to inshallah till we have democracy. Their recommendations and endorsements are not worth the paper they are printed on, because they have no legitimate authority to be preaching to the people of this nation.
You are making the obvious mistake that in Europe the gives you quality free healthcare, excellent public transport, a clean environment and top-class public universities. We get none of that. All our taxes go into the pockets of politicians. You people are essentially saying that we need to give our crorepati politicians more money.
Hope OP gained back his 9 lacs! And I hope all the idiots who simply downvoted any comment which dismissed claims of BJP losing majority, would have learned their lessons to actually READ the news articles' content rather than just the title of the articles.
Anything apart from my CV, CPC, and ACA 1996?
Research papers/moots are generally not of that much significance to internship selection unless you are thinking of interning with a T1 firm in your 3rd/4th/5th years or working with certain very selective NGOs (Project 39A, Vidhi, etc). In the case of T1 firms moots and research papers are both very important whereas for top NGOs moots are somewhat less important but you need to have done excellent research work.
Even the dishonest judges do not become openly corrupt so early in their career and most of those who do end up getting fired. Your friend, if corrupt, is stupid and about to get fired.
PPO usually takes 1 week after first round and 1 month after last round
How long does it take for the HR to contact the candidate regarding the job in Khaitan?
I graduated from a mediocre law college. What are my chances for interning in trilegal or any other tier 1 law firms?
As a nujs bsc llb student, I'll say this. It is a relatively new course although you will get a lot better profs to teach the legal subjects. Currently we are deciding whether to go with our own placement cell or a joint one with ba peeps. The sja has also assured us that the number of electives will be increased from next year. Barring 1-2 professors most are pretty decent in the criminology and forensics subjects.
I am not going to lie current 3rd 4th and 5th years kind of look down at us, but situations are changing. For eg this year, both the ba and bsc batch freshers are really amicable with each other and there has been no "drama" since both entered nujs through consortiums lists only.

- Rajβs Congress friends are actual Naveenβs friends. The whole Jindal family has been loyal to the Congress for years. Raj was merely carrying out orders. In recent times, Raj has similarly been cosying up to BJP leaders and set up the right-wing Jindal India Institute, which has Modi fanboy Sreeram Chaulia as the head.
- Re recruitment, things are changing. The past left-wing hires were partly political (the professor at the centre of recent controversies is the child of a former Congress MP) but also because Raj himself is a human rights guy and had some biases. Not any more.
