We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.
Therefore, in using the site, you must agree to do your best to uphold these community guidelines.
Note that what you find here is written and moderated by anonymous people on the internet.
Therefore everything you read here is very likely unverified, rumour, speculation and/or downright false.
In continuing to read anything here, you must therefore agree not to take anything you read here as factual and that you will exercise due caution, diligence and common sense before acting on any information you may come across here.
You also agree to report any inaccurate or malicious comments with the buttons. Moderators take action within 24 hours, as required and appropriate under law.

Legal action also being taken against the pub where he was served alcohol despite being a minor. I hope all these pubs have their license cancelled.
2. Make Rupee fully convertible and dilute FEMA, and make genuine efforts to increase ease of business and make government interactions face-less/online;
3. Increase remuneration of and facilities for lower judiciary and police (non-IPS cadre) to attract better qualified people;
4. Implement next gen Agri reforms, build cold storage/storage silos, increase MSP, increase use of tech/facilitate land pooling for agri etc.
5. Improve Government Schools and Colleges, and focus on technical/vocational education.
2. NJAC or IJS or something to ensure collegium system goes away. While I am sure political appointment of higher judiciary will have its drawbacks and shortcomings, some even very very very concerning (see our police forces for example), however, there will be some accountability. I can atleast vote out my MLA/MP if I see (perceive) a corrupt judge in my HC/SC.
Re "Bihar, WB, Punjab to start industrialising their states" that is incumbent on the state governments, not Modi.
Manan for AG

The internal assessments - the bad teachers are happy to give out grades for good tlfqs and the good ones are scared theyβll lose their jobs so theyβll give out good tlfqs too.
And if all of that isnβt enough and you still donβt get good grades, you can sandbag it take the course again as a repeat student and have 100% of your grade come to a final and - as we know the finals are incredibly easy to get really good grades in. Read 4 modules and you can get like 80%.
There isnβt a cap on how many repeats you can take and how many times.
This isnβt just regular run of the mill grade inflation- this is corruption. Itβs cash for grades and the whole institution is built on this.
The parents who pay the fees are happy because they think theyβre kids are learning a lot - in fact theyβre being lied to.
I wouldnβt trust a Jgls diploma as far as I could throw it.
1. Our universities are bureaucratic
2. We need to follow reservation quotas and allowing transfers could upset that
3. The super-elite places like NLSIU will never accept students from βlowerβ colleges. A transfer from NLUJ to GNLU and vice versa would work, but never NLUJ to NLSIU. You only need to look at Sudhirβs attitude. Withdraw from the consortium after they didnβt let him have his way and contested in the Karnataka that other NLUs cannot be called National universities, only NLSIU is national. Can you imagine Sudhir accepting a transfer student from anywhere?
In my above message it came out as CM has no applicability of law, what I meant is it's the same with every other practice area except disputes. So it's not true that there is no applicability of law. Moreover, CM is not everyone's cup of tea. The area can be burdensome for the ones who do not understand companies law their rules, regulations, icdr and lodr.
I find it exiting to have my names in the deals of ipo which increases my brand value. I feel proud doing it.
I'm aware that this opinion would attract a lot of hate but I'm interested to know how do you guys see it?
But another thread where an incoming A0 is seeking inputs to be a better lawyer has barely any serious responses. God help humanity.
Analysis:
In 2019,
TMC got 5.7 lakh
BJP 4.7 lakh
CPIM 1.2 lakh
Considered safe seat for TMC with a lot of Muslim vote
But if 10% of TMC vote shifts to BJP and CPIM continues its tradition of losing voteshare BJP is in play
Sabyasachi da can only play an important role by failing to attract votes
Is this too much to ask for during probation?
Genuine replies only. Thank you.
