We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

Now, I acknowledge what other people have said, that letting resentment build and then saying hostile things anonymously is not helping anyone. It's possible that the non-binary people I know are just bad people, and not necessarily because of their gender. This thread has given me a lot to think about and read up on.
I don't fully know what my stance is on this issue. I still think that there's a large overlap between difficult mental illnesses like bpd (really hard for the people around them to handle!) and identifying as non-binary. Whether one causes the other, I have no idea. Not my place to comment on this, I understand.
I'm less angry now than when I first started this thread, time and space really helps. Anyway, thank you to everyone who gave me perspective! Some of the recommendations of material to read has been really illuminating. @LI I'm sorry this thread became an extremely angry and hostile space, I honestly wasn't trying to stir up some controversy. Surrounded by enough drama as it is, definitely don't want more.
Just know this- youll have to answer someday when people ask why you were supporting all of this ▮▮▮. In a few years everyone will know all of what ive said to be true. They have already changed their minds in nordic countries, the UK has turned the tide- even stonewall is walking back transitioning for children- americans will be next and once that happens- you will probably pretend that you never really bought into it all. but at least to your own self- you will have to explain that you were too lazy to do your own research and too proud to listen to women who were crying themselves hoarse trying to tell you and too self righteous to think you might be wrong. Dont bother calling yourself a feminist that day. Dont bother pretending you even know what the word means.
I know why. Its easier to believe men and dismiss women as crazy. Thats all.
The original post calls for a ban on "politicians" in these elections to protect the SCBA from political factionalism.
So, are you implying Kapil Sibal isn't a politician because he's supposedly "independent"?
We all know just how "independent" Sibal is. His weekly pontifications on The Wire—a so-called "independent" news outlet—are proof enough of his "independence."
As for my use of "INDI Alliance," the term "INDIA" is sacred to me, reserved for our motherland, Bharat/ India 🇮🇳. Neither you nor Rahul Gandhi can monopolize it with those sneaky dots or a long form no one cares about.
By branding yourselves as I.N.D.I.A, you're admitting that brand UPA just doesn't sell anymore! 🤷🏻♀️
Only the experienced ones please answer..
65k in probation period (6months) and 75k later on.
I think bonus is +15K not sure about that though.
By labeling such critique or feedback as "contested" or "trolling," you, as a moderator, are obstructing India's right to journalistic integrity—a crucial check and balance that must remain agnostic to political affiliation.
Why do you think I dont read? What is that assumption based on? I literally have an LLM and a PhD. From a school you probably wouldnt get into- I dont feel the need to throw that around to gain credibility- but you seem to think the only arguments worth considering are made by ivory tower academics in philosophy departments who are as far removed from this world as possible. I also dont feel the obligation to pretend stupid arguments arent stupid. do you think that i earned those by not reading - what? second year gender and law introductory texts? You accused me in the other thread of not reading or understanding Judith Butler- I took apart the article you quoted and a couple of others for good measure, and you completely disappeared. In this thread- youve presented articles from different sources, theyve been discredited just by quoting them- and you still refuse to think I read? for what reason? why are you so certain you know more than me? youve not been able to make an argument that I havent been able to poke a few holes in? and you keep covering by calling me a bigot instead of even having a riposte?
I imagine that you think I dont read because I dont agree with everything I read. I use my old lady brain that might be insane because im a lady who gets periods and I challenge ideas I encounter and try and think about what I buy and I dont. Why dont you use your brain and challenge what people say instead of what you want them to say? and instead of feverishly chanting your own dogma? you could also confront evidence which you might disagree with rather than closing your eyes to it?
If you want to be a serious academic or even activist- you will have to learn to deal with your outrage over the idea that people might disagree with you and get to the business of rational debate and persuasion.
Or is mathematics also western now?
