All professions have this - when kids of school teachers get admission easily, no one has an issue. How come this hypocrisy?
In all likelihood, you would help your child too and not throw them to endlessly struggle when you have made something of yourself after years of struggle already.
Nairs were a respectable sect of Kerala, it is not even seen as a Shudra like other parts of India.
Nair/Menon/Pillai are all the same. No one considers them Shudras. Dalits on the other hands were actually treated as untouchables. Hence they are avarnas.

A close friend who practices electricity keeps telling me me how in SC electricity law matters are some of the biggest commercial matters with dispute value almost always being above 500-800cr and its only the top tier silk gowns who are briefed. I feel the reason is that its the playing field of adanis, tatas, reliance, vedanta, renew power. He tells me Tri, KCO, JSA, DSK are knee deep in the practice. There a lot of small boutiques firms like SKV and MSA Partners with a good chunk of the work who are good paymasters as well. to summarize electricity is some serious money for those who can get in.

They take internship interviews very seriously (even the HR round) so prepare accordingly. Good Luck!
To understand further. Do all firms do this 10-15% hike and not match salaries with existing associates? Or are there any exceptions? Because if there aren't any exceptions I am wondering what scope you would have to increase salary prospects to match your peers at T-1. Frequent changing of jobs may be one way but I don't think that would be very feasible or well appreciated.

Equus at St Regis
Is it easy to be a member here and do many law firm-ites join? I google for Taj Chambers and saw that Senior Advocate Atmaram Nadkarni is a member (he apparently threw the "famous" party where Mahua Moitra was photographed, leading to the Henry-Hiranandani controversy).
ps- please note that all my previous internships have been general corporate or Banking Finance related.
But there isn't an exclusive FEMA practice that i am aware of. I have had to do FEMA as part of my other practice areas. In CAP Marks i had to FEMA, In GC and PE i had to FEMA.
Clientele is the full spectrum of promoters, banks, MNCs, PE/VC funds, family offices, founders etc.
If someone with prior internship/work experience at SAM can help me out, please do.
I joined the company in 2011, and in 2016, the company started recruiting employees on a tenure basis. These employees receive permanent employee salaries, allowances, and promotions. I have not received such benefits despite my long-standing service with the company.
I seek your advice on whether there is any legal recourse available to me for regularization or for receiving salaries and allowances equivalent to tenure employees. I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide me with your expert opinion on this matter.
Thank you for considering my request. I look forward to your advice.

The inquiry committee report is embarrassing for the HC - the bench should have apologized to the university and the chancellor for making a mountain out of a molehill and making it harder for genuine victims to come forward with claims in the future.
Wondering what avenues/ opportunities are open for me and worth exploring.
