The transition from law firms to Big4 marks a significant shift in the kind of work you do. Though you might be working on the same kind of transactions and roles but we are all aware of the cultural shift and the difference in pay. My recent shift has got me into a big dilemma whether it was a right decision to go for a Big4 consultancy from a boutique law firm. Though i might want to come back to law firms, i am only attracted to the kind of pay they give and nothing else about it. Throw some light people!!

Axis has decided not to release its Bengal figures, because 75% of the sample it interviewed refuse to say who they were voting for (which people are interpreting as a silent BJP wave).
We will know on Monday what happens, but if the BJP wins what will that mean for NUJS? For a start, there will be a new Advocate General and Law Minister. Thoughts? Sure, the exit polls were way off the mark in 2024, but they have also been right many times. Also, the big difference between 2024 and now is the SIR. Lakhs of deletions of Muslim voters (genuine or otherwise).
They'll either think:
(i) you already have another offer and not take you seriously; or,
if you tell them you want a PPO from this firm because you "deserve better",
(ii) you are over-entitled and/or disloyal and not take you seriously.
It's better to just do the internship on merit without other baggage and accept the outcome.

* Draft the business section
* Bring in the Institutional investors by doing roadshows
* Most importantly cordinate with all the intermediaries, to get the offer documents out and take the heat from SEBI.
For all of this they get a % based fee of the issue in most cases. A seasoned MD of a top Indian IB would anytime earn more than an EP.
