We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.
Therefore, in using the site, you must agree to do your best to uphold these community guidelines.
Note that what you find here is written and moderated by anonymous people on the internet.
Therefore everything you read here is very likely unverified, rumour, speculation and/or downright false.
In continuing to read anything here, you must therefore agree not to take anything you read here as factual and that you will exercise due caution, diligence and common sense before acting on any information you may come across here.

1. Kalyan Banerjee (governing body member): Mocked CPIMโs Dipsita Dhar over her dark skin and made misogynistic remarks about Mahua Moitra. No apology.
2. Mamata Banerjee: Has made multiple remarks after rape cases calling the incidents fabricated and shaming the survivors. No apology.
On the other hand, Jagdeep Dhankharโs remarks supporting the CAA have also been made by the likes of Harish Salve and we are yet to see any court declare it unconstitutional.
As for JSD, yes he has openly supported Hindutva. But whatโs illegal in that?
So he's actually upset at the pro-BJP students for not standing up to the pro-TMC students???

Woke Gen Z kids take politics so seriously ... while Noam Chomsky chills in Epstein's jet and Mahua Moitra dances with Kangna at Naveen Jindal's kid's wedding!
I will recommend KCO or IC Legal for this practice area. CAM, NDA (yes it still has some good folks) and BLC (which is ex-NDA) are also decent.
And it also depends on practice area, tbh.
Competition- JSA
Disputes- any of these firms
M&A- SAM-CAM-KCO-AZB and then maybe Trilegal
Funds- Trilegal
Cap Marks- CAM>SAM>KCO> and then maybe Trilegal
TMT- CAM-SAM
What else?
This is what I did last year. I copied all university domain names from the CLAT website, added a bunch of others I got from our HR, and blocked them. This hasn't stopped students cold mailing me from Gmail addresses, but it has reduced the spam to some extent. Am I the worst human being on the planet for doing this? Sure, but the trade off is worth it.
Many speculate that Nan has saffron sympathies. True or not, life has taught him hard lessons and therefore he will do nothing that imperils self preservation.
Follow his actions, inactions not rhetoric.
b) when he is in the campus he is quick in his duties, has clear ideas as to what he wants to do
c) but his attendance could be better, especially when dealing with the transition, dual campus etc.
(1) Never disclose to anyone and especially your employer that you are neurodivergent. Globally, there's a lot of stigma associated with being ND, in India its 10x more. I understand that it might feel suffocating and you feel you have to work twice as hard to do the same task a NT does, but currently India hasn't progressed to the extent that it can welcome NDs in the workplace. It hurt to say this but there's nothing you can do but suck it up and "work harder"
(2) Try taking up work that relates to any of your special interests. I know many NDs in law firms who absolutely crush their job because they're engaged in work that they absolutely love. Personally, I never found an interest in subjects taught in law school. GenCorp was a practice area I found to be extremely boring and intellectually dry and that translated into shoddy work being submitted. Currently, I've found a niche to my liking to the extent that I've been able to match associates on aspects of work quality. I know of another ND in a tier 2 firm who loves writing and utilised it in drafting memos, complaints, petitions. He's loved by the team for it.
There's a team in Trilegal Bangalore that's filled with NDs, they don't interact much as a bunch but the team is well-known for the work it deals in.
For all the supposed red eye relationship with saffron, apples don't fall far from....
So who was the obscure lawyer being alluded in an earlier post? Some had claimed that Mani Aiyar was trashing Rahul Baba to get a shot at RS. That was quite a red herring.

A great day for NLSIU and a great day for LGBTQIA++ rights. What a great honour that the person responsible for winning the 377 case is now an MP.
NLSIU, Rhodes scholarship, 377 case, Time 100 honouree, Senior Advocate designation and now yet another feather in the cap!!
P.S. This was also expected and speculated about on LI. Some obscure lawyer was spinning rumours on social media that he would get the seat โ- was never in contention. Anyone can spread any nonsense rumour!
Is reaching out to people on LinkedIn helpful. What are few Inhouse companies that are actually worth it for Tier 1 lawyers ?
In my team, people generally say these things, "you have gained weight, this shirt looks/does not look good on you, what happened to your hair?" but we are chill and team is closely knit and associates sometimes even tease partners like saying things like "have I given you so much tension that your hairline has started to recede", so nobody cares. But if you have issues, just tell them politely- there is no other way out.
Give some good suggestions of lawyers for a property dispute case in delhi
IIM Rohtak has nothing that differentiates it from other mid-tier business schools. Even as a business school, it is mediocre.
You took the risk now you are figuring out what happens when risk materialises.
I can only assume if the juniors under me will be laid off in a couple of years
However, the privileged ones only pretend. No doubt the entire team runs away every 6months.
