But by then I had also moved to a different city for work and coming all way to my State's Bar Council Office for this was difficult+ whenever I called my State Bar Council, these guys never picked up the call. Finally, I went to my State Bar Council Office physically last week after flying down to my hometown, extended the validity of my certificate and finally uploaded the documents a few day's ago for the COP

Bo'27 - T1 NLU. DayZ is in 10 days and our PPO figures are abysmally low, probably the lowest this decade. Have heard its the same across fellow T1s as well so probably the market. We did have a few recruitment drives so far, I sat for a couple and it led nowhere. Shortlists are about to be coming in for DayZ, but given how rank centric things appear to be, hopes are little of even getting shortlisted in most as someone in the middle of the batch. My internships didn't work out either - good feedback at great places where I would want to work, only to be turned down for some or the other reason "oh we are not looking to hire atm" "our team is mid heavy" "we're switching to another firm".

I am so done with the chase man. 4 years of law school seem to assessed solely by whether one manages to get employed. Worse, I am so clueless about what to do if I don't. Can't skip classes and intern endlessly. Neither do I want to, to only be disappointedly informed about a lack of vacancy in my last week of internship. Years of co-curriculars, decent grades, publications and genuinely thinking maybe I like law, only to be unemployed. Familial responsibilities, peer pressure, the fear of not bagging a corp job when that's what you have looked up to right from your first year when your seniors would flex it - all of it is just getting to me. Heard the NLUM is again going through mismanagement under his leadership - no proper hostel, 73% domicile with no student diversity or batch quality, rising fees, no personal effort by VC to build relations with the fraternity and no accountability. It's been 8 yrs and 2 more left, yet he can't run a NLU well? Even CS under their new VC is doing better at least administratively and he is not able to have campus built despite getting the land, stone laid and funds. Anyone from Mumbai with their thoughts?

It's also impossible for colleagues (even bosses and subordinates) to date and get married and have successful relationships - it's always only the man taking advantage of the weak and helpless woman.

hi, i was going through some mental health issues during my 2nd and 3rd year of law school and hence did poorly.
my cgpa right now at the end of sem 6, year 3, is a little below 7/10 and the average needed is at least a 7.5
i also am still in the process of writing my first research paper (because acc to me im supposed to find an entirely novel gap that no one has thought of before fully) and i havent done an international moot yet, didnt win at national ones i did before either.
it just wasnt the best time. i do have some decent internships though
so yes i have 2 more years to go and i will do my best, however, right now i just feel like i am doomed and wont get a job. i seriously considered going back to law school again.

Hiii everyone, I filled the enrolment form for BCD yesterday, and I realized today that I had made a stupid mistake, I had pasted 2 pictures of myself on the necessary spots but since I did not have a stapler, I forgot to enclose the remaining 3 and my form has been submitted too where they didn't check it or flag it.
What is the likely course of action next, will they call me to just submit the photos, or will it get rejected outright? Or is there a chance that they overlook it, please let me know, thanks in advance!

No. It's bad advice regardless. Most teams / firms are plagued by indecision, lack of communication, and non-existent management skills. Asking someone who obviously is not / was not prepared or aware of this whirlwind of a job to tough it out and it will get better when there is no certainty if it will is objectively terrible advice.

Will doing a pg diploma from nls help me out in enhancing my cv. Also can it increase my chances of getting job as assistant professor at a good institute.

JGLS has an empathetic and well thought out disability support committee which provides academic support to students with disabilities. This support is much needed and is a great approach to increasing accessibility and equity.

Like with all good things, many make the absolute worst of it.

It's growingly common practice in my batch at JGLS for able bodied students to obtain a "fake DSC." I personally know of students who suffer from no actual ailment but do have an extra friendly family doctor who can tinkeringly create whatever is needed. These students then use the committee to claim relaxations such as alternative assessments, extended submission timelines, extra time for in person exams, and the worst of all, I have seen students bring internet enabled laptops to physical mid term examinations, and ai their way through the same paper everyone else is writing (with extra time too). Of course it is undeniable that there are disabilities that are not visible, and I am not judging students for not having a visible disability. I just personally know and have heard students admit, with some pride even, on how they gamed the system with their DSC support, without actually having a condition or needing support. Since grading is relative, these relaxations really do have quite an impact, and in addition to the general student body, it's the students with genuine, especially non visible disabilities, who now get to deal with more side-eye every time they use the support they're entitled to.
