To all the partners and other senior designated people out there - don't rush your teammates for a task that has no nearby deadline. It just creates unnecessary panic and a drop in the quality of work.

Let me repeat: Sudhir is not corrupt and he has done an excellent job in NLU alumni faculty recruitment. In comparison, certain VCs have brazenly stolen money and hired their stooges from mediocre colleges. Have you learnt nothing from the student protests that took place pre-Covid across NLUs?
- NLUD and NALSAR only a little bit behind NLSIU. The reason NLSIU keeps winning is that they get 100/100 in perception. Remove the perception score and they will not be #1.
- The gap with NUJS is larger and that's because NUJS is doing badly in perception.
- To an extent, perception is about outward appearance (a nice website and an Oxford-educated VC who speaks English well helps). However, corruption and bad administration also have an impact. So the other colleges shoudn't hate on NLSIU purely for having better PR. Say what you will about Sudhir Krishnaswamy, he is not corrupt. He does not embezzle money and he hires NLU alumni faculty with good qualifications, rather than keeping them out and hiring third-rate products from semi-rural colleges.

- PhD is at a crucial juncture. 3 years later, the uni has asked me to rework on the proposal again.
- Papers stuck in the review cycle while others publish 2-3 papers.
- Working at a private uni in a research role. Every application to the uni I'm doing PhD results in failure. Every application to a half decent plance also results in no response, reminding me of my UG days. I've even stopped applying.
Overall, it feels I'm stuck in a rut. Leaving academia is also not possible without generational wealth.
1 suggestions that I disagree- non law courses for an year. Our tier 2.5 university followed this, and we were behind others in understanding basics like torts and contracts. Not recommended.
