Shit happens even to the smartest of people. There may be impacts in the short term, but hopefully, not in the long term. I think the best policy might be absolute transparency. I know it's hard to talk about personal issues in this way, but I think hiding it will be worse for you.
you will learn a lot.. far more than carrying some files of some lawyer.. yes, you will have none to have your back at start but worth it

Before someone commits suicide, the person gives enough hints. We as a society fail when a suicide happen. Student friends, classmates, hostel mates and even faculty should introspec why they could not stop it.
Do T1 firms also hire associates based on such connections and if yes is there even any chance to get a PPO there or get placed for a first gen? I am genuinely concerned.

CPR will come last in every ranking. Yet, there will be enough people whose first choice is CPR, instead of SAM/ AZB/ JSA, because they want to specialize in a niche area of work.

How was Dr ID appointed as VC when he did not have 10 years of experience as Prof as per UGC norms. Also the advertisement for NLU Meg VC seemed tailor made for ID and interestingly his doctoral supervisor NKC (presently NUJS VC) was part of the search committee.

i work at a smaller firm and although not always reliable, sometimes chat gpt and claude etc really help
i would obviously never put in confidential information into it
but for things like paraphrasing, or sometimes research it is useful
the only thing is that it can’t be used blindly and always have to fact check so yes being careful is key.
but i was discussing this with someone from big law and they said that they make fun of people who use ai

This is a example for other firms to follow. For example after Trilegal raised the pay for A0 in 2023, all firms followed suit in 2024.
i have interned here b4, i did secured that through referral but that was for a month.and im batch of 2026 so i was expecting like a callback/assessment i mean i thought i did well, had good feedback but they said only 3 weeks.
i dont understand what to make of it.

I would really want to ensure I convert this internship into a callback and eventually a full-time role. I am from a T2 NLU with a very average batch rank, so day z is not something I can rely on (for a T1 offer at least).
So I would appreciate anything I could do to ensure I stand out among the interns to hopefully get considered for a callback. Any suggestions would help: research advice, drafting tips, and any laws I should read up on. I want to be as prepared as I can be. Just don't tell me to work hard, I already know that. I am seeking specific things I can do over the semester, so I can hopefully convert. Thank you!
I am a resident of Delhi but I have been told to get into litigation and having worked in some of the good places I am just not too sure about hardcore civil litigation whereas I want to pursue IPR media and entertainment law. I am not sure how to go about it I have no contacts in that space. I am not sure how to go about it.
I worked under Bangalore Niranjan Vivek and he was a gem! Knowledgeable and very likeable. Anirudha Bose was alright. Nothing unlikeable or toxic about him. I don't know why these two names have been downvoted.
