We know that being in an anonymous space adds complexity. People share things in good faith, and community testimony absolutely matters. But sometimes, especially when topics get heated or political, we also have to think about how quickly misinformation can spread, sometimes unintentionally. So “contested” is our way of saying: this might be valid, but we need more to go on.
And you're right, our sources aren’t perfect. That’s why we don’t delete the content outright unless it’s provably false. “Contested” is more like a sticky note saying, "hey, double-check this before you go ahead with this."

But like I said, the further north you go, it’s more of the Punjabi/Coldplay stuff with not a lot of a diversity to what people listen to.
I try to moderate whenever I can. Which, lately, isn't quite often. I have my own litigation practice — that, and other things in life, take up a chunk of my time. I usually open up LI for 2-4 minutes for my 'short breaks' at random moments throughout the day and try to clear the posts.
I believe the other mods would have similar preoccupations in life. I like to mod here because I have been a part of this site for more than 11 (or 12?) years. But at the same time, there are other things in life (work, family) which are more important. My apologies for the delays.
The cap of all law schools should be at 100 per year. 60 is too less and 120 is a lot. Keep it at 100.
That's 500 for ba LLB, 500 for BBA llb, 500 for bsc llb, 300 from LLB; 1800 students. And 60 for MBA. 60 for other social sciences. And 30 for LLM. And 50 for phds (10 per year, 5years). So a total of 2000 students in total. From UG to Phd and includes all law and other subjects as well.

Would really appreciate if the author of this comment responds and defend the comment otherwise it is a serious concern for lawyers getting misinformed on LI.

S&R is still legit - can be first pref only if they scout you out and commit that you are on the fast-track; otherwise, their recent expansion has muddled things a bit. Honestly in two minds about JSA, some of their policies are great, but the firm overall is swaying. Saraf/rump Luthra - less said, the better.
- The quality of work assigned (research, drafting, client exposure, etc.)
- The learning curve and mentorship culture
- Office environment and work hours
- Whether it's litigation, corporate-focused, or a mix
- Any red flags or things to be mindful of?
