We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

Should I wait for the 2nd and third CAP rounds to see if I get GLC?
Are there any other colleges I can consider? My preference is getting internships and placements at law firms, primarily targeting corporate law.
Thanks in advance!

If you are a student in any of the institutions mentioned then focus on stuff that matters instead of rankings and stupid competitions.

People are asking why the Kolkata police did nothing when TMC MP Sayoni Ghosh posted a cartoon showing a Shivling with a condom on top of it, with caption โShiv ratriโ.

If you need innovation in this industry than be it anyone who solve the problem the background should not be a point... also you mentioned anyone from this industry hardly talk about tech in industry so there is need for someone from other industries to solve this ? please share your views ..
Legal tech is a buzzword for those who are comfortable with the current system and refuse to learn a new skill in the name of being a 'lawyer', what they don't understand is that legal tech can help this profession on every level, from college students to senior professionals.
I would love to hear the OP on his exposure to the legal tech.
2. Yoga and meditation.
3. A new hobby/sport.
4. Reading books
5. Stay away from toxic people.
6. Stay away from toxic politics. Donโt involve yourself in woke culture wars in college. Complete waste of time.
Just a doubt. Do associates in law firms apart from disputes practice really require to have a COP? Just clearing AIBE would be enough right? Pls do help
In other news, they have changed flat structure to SA and PA but lots of ho-ha about no policy and structure.
Coming back to OP, yes attrition is high, the work is very demanding. If you cannot deliver, too bad. People are asked to resign to save them the embarrassment of being fired, some are fired. This is a part of every law firm and is normal. Old people leave, new people join. New people leave, newer people join. The cycle goes on ad nauseam.
She is still Scott free, still working within Reliance legal team
She changed her name and got some gag orders to prevent her new name from being leaked.
Can anyone help me, I tried contacting to HR but they are not responding back - email and call tried both.
