I didn’t go for an upgrade and stuck to my decision of joining GNLU.
Do I regret it? Absolutely not. It was one of the better decisions I made for myself, I was able to achieve all the things I wanted to.
Please consider both pay and work culture and suggest
Tier 1 would be NLSIU>NALSAR>NLUD.
Tier 2 would JGLS>GNLU>NLUJ>NUJS.
Tier 3 would be NLIU>RGNUL>RMLNLU>MNLU-M>NUALS>BITS>Symbi Pune>Symbi Noids
Rest tier 4 (eg Odisha, Nagpur) and 5 (eg Patna, Ranchi)

Both are in Bangalore, and both are massively overhyped, and both are well past their prime
As I will be graduating in 2030, I would greatly appreciate your insights on which of the two institutions might offer better academic exposure, career opportunities (both in litigation and corporate law), peer environment, and overall growth prospects in the long term.
I understand both universities are among the top NLUs, and this makes the decision even more challenging. Any guidance based on your experiences or observations would be extremely valuable to me.
2. They offer internships after successful interviews depending on the month. They have a strict 2 interns per month policy at least for their Mumbai office. But all in all—I'd say it's one amongst the best places to intern. Associates are approachable and kind, good amount of work. Call back scene is a little iffy owing to the lack of their HR Structure; otherwise, it was a great 1 month.
How much funds associates makes or partner ?
Is there any exit opportunities for funds lawyer ?
In Mumbai, most of the partners are staying in rent. Some partners stay in Lodha as well. But the trend is most of the partners staying in rented apartments of 3BHK and rainmakers staying in 4BHK. But some partners do have homes worth 15-20 crores in Bombay. But I would rather prefer investing that money for real estate in some other city.

so my question is; do nlus ask for highschool transcripts? or will his a levels statement of result be enough? he can’t opt for resits at this stage either. moreover, will they contact the school where he is from?
Also, I have done nothing the past five months and the boredom is unbearable now. I want to be at least marginally ahead of my peers when I reach there.
Should I have any hope of them hiring a fresher for the 2027 batch or is it completely fruitless?
Any advice on how to make the best of this internship, and hopefully get an assessment with them later, would be be very helpful!!
Not asking about JAG, as that is not a permanent combat military position, and involves much the same (paper)work as in the ordinary legal career.
