Well maybe I am wrong in my assessment - I opened & closed my comment with that sentence anyway. I only go to the Supreme Court once a week (and sometimes not even that). I practice mostly in the Delhi High Court, so I'm at a little distance from the activities of the SC. I had authored my comment based on my limited understanding.

That being said, I'm neither a conspiracy theorist nor a troll. And your comment fails to offer a little more than ad hominem attacks which the admin has censored before I could see what it was.

No recruiter is concerned with people's CLAT rank, it's what is in their CVs, their interview performance that count. Including connections, of course. Can the batches get off their collective a**es and do something concrete about it, such as petitioning the Chancellor to demand that he does his freaking job? If not, then what's the use of them having become lawyers? Lawyers who can't even get their own rights enforced aren't supposed to inspire confidence in the minds of their clients.

While it reflects on the incompetence of back to back CJIs, as well as their representative judges in the EC, it also shows how apathetic the alumni have become, including those from the five batches. They could have written joint petitions, open letters and done many other things to put pressure on the Chancellor and the admin. However, they are happy to just let it be. Perfect depiction of the university these days, nobody cares anymore. Especially since any student from these batches can now collect their final certificates from the university directly without convo.

Got PPO from AZB for Batch of 2026 in corporate team..... A v big moment for my family. We come from proper middle class family. Elder sister who is a Bank PO, my father has worked as a clerk with SBI and mother homemaker. All my relatives are also in middle class or class 1 goverment jobs. No business background and no agriculture or hereditary property.

I want to make it big in law. I do not mind the work hours and my only point in life is to make it big, professionally and financially. To see my parents live the life they wished I would live in. To give them all they wanted but avoided for me and my sister.

I am now confused though. Have there been T1 partners who have made it big from such backgrounds. I mean I come from a family which has been big on education as that is all we have. I see a lot of associates from family like me, a lot many from higher better families too. I know there is a level of advantage to latter but I want to hear that this advantage is not the only thing. That I can make a pattern without say knowing how will I bring business to the firm. Would that happen with my profesional connections? How? My veins need to know, I just need to know so that I start preparing, I will give it my all. I will.

I am confused about bar registation now - do I enroll in Delhi or P&H or Bombay HC, is Bombay HC some extra beneficial given I will be in corporate practice. What could enrolment in Bombay HC give benefits of.

If Mumbai or Delhi enrolment then what do you suggest how do I enroll as my permanent address is different. Rent agreement?

Finally, about AIBE will it make any difference from where I get state enrolment. And can I give AIBE without state enrolment.

I’d try to tell them multiple times that Law is what i wanted to do. They’ve finally accepted it. But from what i’ve seen, people start law by the age of 18 or 19. Am I too late? I don’t want to stand out or anything like that. I’ll probably be 25 -26 when i graduate and that doesn’t bother me a bit.

Please rename Strawberry Fields to something that reflects what NLSIU has now become (rather than what it was). The fest now features music with zero resemblance to what the Beatles played. It's an insult to the Beatles to use this name. As also to Gen X NLSIU alumni who founded the fest. Conversely, Gen Z also feels insulted to use the name of a band with four white men playing rock music, which is an irrelevant genre for them and even more irrelevant for Gen Alpha.

Some suggestions for what the new name could be, based on songs that Gen Z listens to:

- New Rules (also has a legal ring to it)

- Swish

- IDGAF

- Fein

- Tukoh Taka

1. My preferred answer: None of these. Retake CLAT again. This assumes you are happy to take a full (or partial) drop (which is based on the assumption that you do really want to study law, obviously, considering what you said).

2. A more realistic answer: Would have said NLUO over RML, but current situation makes it difficult to conclusively say that, for now, at least. Ask seniors from NLUO.

I had got the admission here...but cancelled it...just because law take admission through an exam and an interview doesn't mean it will offer you much... charging 4.11 lakhs (currently) a year for providing just the good looking infrastructure... talked with multiple seniors...and yes it is the seniorio that there isn't much placements...even for internships you are at your own majority of the time...for anyone who doesn't Care about monetary perspective and just want the degree of law and a good college in terms of facilities and everything then you can choose this college otherwise go for T2 NLUS or prepare again for CLAT if you think/want to do better for your self cuz in the end
