1/3 of the hostel's residents contracting dengue reflects entirely on the conditions of the hostel and not the 1/3 affected crowd. The water further is known to make many sick which is why some kids avoid using hostel RO water entirely.
The feeling that no one cares is very true especially when you first arrive. Try making some decent friends to remedy this, even though most of the people here are fake, just having some good company helps. Stay focused on your academics and you'll no doubt have good prospects waiting by the time you're through.

If you really want him and his acolytes gone, just demand (and please ensure full compliance) access to both the minutes and agenda notes of all the EC, FC, AC meetings of RGNUL ever since this VC got appointed and also his predecessors. Thereafter, ensure a forensic audit by CAG.
If BCI can ask for police verification and what not for students, why should VCs, faculty members and non-teaching staff not undergo the same grind. Actually, the BCI members should undergo those checks themselves first.

Third, is in response to the OPs query, there are multiple people that I know who have been placed at Vidhi right after graduating law school. You can either intern with them and build a relationship and then request for an interview. Or, if Vidhi comes to your university for recruitment and you have demonstrable interest in Policy (internship/ writing etc.), you have a fair chance of getting selected.
Also, if you took the second test can you share the scope of questions. I am done with my first round as well.

Detentions and year losses are not the fault of the administration but of students. Study, don't fail, attend classes - buckle up. If medically or mentally unwell, prove your infirmity and avail the standard concessions available to everyone.
Rules cannot be set aside just because someone is a threat to themselves or others. In fact, in such a case, the person should be removed from the institution and treated.
The world cannot stops for one or two people. The rules cannot be bent for individual cases. Study, or face the consequences.
Furthermore, your mental issues are not the community's fault. No one is responsible for yourself except you. Get whatever help you want, but no one is guilty for being absorbed in their own concerns of moots and publications.

Maybe the CJI is trying to signal something? And it is interesting that it is only now that alumni are writing to CJI when they are fully aware that he is retiring in Nov 2024 and there is very little time (thanks to Puja vacations) to organise the convocation. Many suspect that VC got some of his chosen to write (and publicise) the letter to CJI so that people stop asking talking about how VC is the reason why CJI has avoided Convocation in all these years.
Also the faculty member who alleged SH by VC may have gone to court in 2024 but the matter has been swirling in the EC since 2023 at least. VC is hoping that his appeal in Cal HC before a DB led by a regime friendly judge will succeed (and therefore his extension as well due in Nov). He already has NAAC and BCI certification excuses for DD and SS.
