As VC- hes what multipled your faculty by 300%? hes brought on several institutional collaborators for small and big research projects? Hes raised funding from alumni? Hes revived a number of what were defunct programs and journals and other initiatives and actually laid out a vision for where the university needs to go? In the last two weeks youve had professors from the best universities all over the world come to nls for like three conferences? do you think that stuff just happens? Do you think all of these faculty would have come to nls anyway without sudhirs reputation? Theyre not coming for you- theyre coming because they trust that he will build something worth their talent and labour.
I know students have short memories. Students who werent around for the previous VC's tenure can ask their seniors just how much of a tailspin the university was in when Sudhir took the reins and hes turned it around.
I dont think hes asking you to work a bit harder than he is.
I live on the other side of bangalore- when my grandpa bought his site and built his house it cost something like a few hundred rupees which he was able to get because he was a medical professor at a government university and he got a loan. Now the property is worth crores. That doesnt mean my mom being raised in the 60's and 70's had some cushy life. What I make in a month- she didnt make that number in her entire career.

You want ‘Harvard of the East’? Well, I think you are getting pretty close to Harvard of the East by Sudhir’s completely justified strictness on this point. You do know that the actual Harvard Law School’s Office of Career Services has gotten this (that classes etc. comes first) down in writing in their official recruitment policies? Even people there whose job requires them to primarily worry about students’ jobs in one of the world’s best law schools have understood this. See quoted extract from their regulations below:
E. Interviewing Time Guidelines
1.No Interviewing During Class Times
Employers scheduling interviews directly with students must not schedule interviews at times that conflict with classes. Interviews scheduled by OCS are assigned at times that do not conflict with classes. Similarly, students are not permitted to interview during their scheduled class times.
2.Summer Interviews
Employers are expected to schedule summer interviews at times that do not conflict with students’ internship and work obligations. Similarly, employers are strongly encouraged to offer interviews via videoconferencing and other technology where possible. As far as industry perception is concerned, the fact that GIFT City chose to set up the CoE in Corporate Forensics in collaboration with NFSU, is the evidence of industry perception. Your perception of industry perception does not matter. The industry knows what NFSU is doing and what's best for them.
Lastly, if you bring up NLU in every discussion you end up being embarrassed. Just because a tiger cub looks like a domestic cat in its first few weeks after birth, does not mean that it is a domestic cat. A tiger cub is still a tiger, albeit a smaller and younger one.
Even if you talk industry perception, NLUs are known by far more people than NFSUs are. All those funds, INI status and government attention go for a toss.

I also got into LLM this year, I am interested to apply for teaching jobs in the future, like after working for 5-6 years. What should I do? If I go for job I won’t be able to pursue my LLM, but if I leave job and continue with internship I’m not sure if I’ll get a job in future, since the job market is really hard. Pls pls help me :)

For median you need to arrange the salaries in the ascending or descending order and then the salary of the middle most person is the median salary. As there are even number of people placed, the median would be (28th + 29th)/2
