Usually it's one month or fifteen days prior to the start date. But I have seen people getting immediate confirmation post submission in other firms as well.

Second, the University might be trying to remove students from the recruitment process and itself place students. This is a disaster. Talk to some NLS student you know and you will know that the 5-year programme gets the stepchild's treatment. For example, a firm went through the admin for internships and an entire batch of BA LLB students were not even informed of it even though they met the criteria. There is an extremely high chance the 5 year programme will be screwed over if student-run RCCs are abolished. Add to this that the administration generally is incompetent to the core. They can't even release grades or elective lists on time, you expect them to place 600 students? Its a joke really.

Example 3: The Haryana government promised to pay her 2 crores. She tweeted that she only got 10 lakh and accused the minister of doing jumla. The minister replied that the money would be paid in instalments and she should have checked first before tweeting. The government did eventually pay that 2 cr and the central government also gave her a lot of support.

NLUs and NLUs graduate have already captured most of the corporate market, soon even traditional family owned law firms will die.
Now that litigation business is under threat expect more cabal judges like him to criticise NLUs and other meritocratic institutions, that are not controlled.
And I'm sick and tired of his constant preaching about NLUs teaching in English only. Let him deliver judgements in Hindi and then talk.
Any news of band revisions in these places? Considering recent revisions, TTA with mere 16lpa for freshers is lagging behind, and s&r isn’t as attractive as it once was.
Any news on such discussions?
Always better to shift to rising starups and fancy in houses than PE roles. Ample in house opportunities if you're not hellbent on moving PE.

I am from Bombay and can share some insight about the city, especially the HC scene. Bombay market is oversaturated, and dare I say, overrated. You cannot survive without a jack in the form of an entire family, or at least a family member deeply established in the city's legal scene. Even if your jack doesn't have a roaring practice, but is socially known, it'll help. Otherwise the Bombay scene treats juniors worse than office boys. You'll be paid lesser than an office-boy/ filing clerk if you join some senior. Seniors (by experience, not by designation alone) pass on their briefs to their kids, NOT to juniors. If the kids/ nephews-nieces havevnot yet joined they Bar, they hoard matters drafted by juniors like dragon's gold. Some seniors will make you draft matters from scratch, and won't even let you be in the well with them, forget joint Vakalatnamas. Effectively, you're drafting matters for the undeserving successors-in-waiting of the oldies. Clients gravitate towards those pepper-salt boomers, even if YOU have seen how these boomers are grossly underprepared.
'Twas a mess as to which senior were you referring to, as in your senior/ friend or that senior's (friend's) senior. If you're an introvert, chuck litigation. You'll fail miserably given your non-existent background in the legal profession.
