Khaitan, NDA on Indo Phyto's $1m buy of Sequent

Khaitan & Co advised Indo Phyto Chemicals on the sale of 51 per cent stake in it to pharma company Sequent Scientific which was advised by Nishith Desai Associates (NDA).

Khaitan Delhi partner Bharat Anand, senior associate Tanvi Kumar and associate Vrinda Agarwal acted for Indo.

NDA Mumbai M&A co-head Simone Reis acted for Sequent.

The acquisition was for Rs 6.85 crore ($1m) and will help Sequent enter the female healthcare segment, according to VC Circle.
