AZB, Trilegal help Aditya Birla launch $14m distressed assets JV with Varde

Varde Partners and Aditya Birla Capital have announced a 50:50 joint venture to invest in distressed assets in India, reported Mint and others, initially investing Rs 100 crore of capital in the company.

Trilegal acted for Varde Partners, led by partner Yogesh Singh, counsel Ankush Goyal, senior associates Ramya Suresh and Deep Choudhuri, and associate Itisha Gupta, according to the firm’s press release.

AZB & Partners acted for Aditya Birla Capital, led by partners Ashwath Rau and Kashish Bhatia.
