Desai Diwanji, NDA on S-Cube Futuretech exit for IDFC-Parampara Capital

Mumbai-based software products company, S-Cube Futuretech has been acquired by US-based infrastructure engineering solutions provider Bentley Systems for an undisclosed sum, as reported by VC Circle and The Economic Times. Earlier in 2015, S-Cube had raised $1m from IDFC-Parampara Early Stage Opportunities Fund. The current deal gives IDFC-Parampara Capital its first exit, also yielding the fund a significant minority stake in the software products firm.

Desai & Diwanji acted for S-Cube Futuretech, its promoters and IDFC Alternatives and Parampara Capital in the transaction and was led by partner Siddharth Mody and associate Ashutosh Merchant.

Nishith Desai Associates advised Bentley Systems on the deal and was represented by partners Mansi Seth and Nishchal Joshipura along with associate Deepa Rai.

Founded in 2004 by Sajit V R Nair and Vishwas Date, S-Cube Futuretech offers software solutions to the structural and civil engineering industry. Post acquisition, the S-Cube staff shall be joining Bentley’s teams in India while popular software products such as RCDC, RCDC FE, RCDC Plan, and Steel Autodrafter will now be part of Bentley’s structural analysis and design portfolio, as per the press release by S-Cube.
