RiceTec AG through its Indian subsidiary (Savannah Seeds Private Limited) acquired the paddy seed business of Ganga Kaveri Seeds Private Limited, according to reports.

“RiceTec Acquires Assets from Ganga Kaveri Seeds: RiceTec AG has announced the acquisition of the rice seed assets of Ganga Kaveri Seeds of Hyderabad, India,” reported Agri Business Global.

KT Advisors LLP acted for US company via Liechtenstein-based RiceTec AG led by a team of managing partner Kalpataru Tripathy, associate partner Aditya Mehra, associate Kaishori Raut.

Tempus Law acted as legal advisor to Ganga Kaveri.

L&L Partners advised Samara Capital led by a team of partners Bikash Jhawar and Rohan Shah.

Also advising was Ernst & Young, as financial advisor to RiceTec.
