L&L acts for Haldiram Snacks on $4.3m buy of Namkeen brand Babaji

Haldiram Snacks has acquired the Namkeen brand Babaji and associated inventory from Lamba Food for an estimated value of around Rs 30 crores. The deal includes the acquisition of the Babaji brand, associated inventory, and associated plant and machinery. The deal was structured as an intellectual property assignment and plant and machinery vis-a-vis the operations of the Babaji brand, as partly reported by VCCircle.

L&L Partners advised Haldiram Snacks Private Limited led by an IP team handling due diligence and related IP agreements including partner Nirupam Lodha, managing associate Reshma Vaidya, and associates Shivangi Narang and Ayushi Harsh. Corporate advisory and share holder’s agreement advice provided by partner designate Harish Kumar.

Last month we had reported that Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas had advised Haldirams Ltd in Kolkata on the buy of Pan India Food Solutions.
