Shareholders of UAE-company Sun Packaging Systems (FZC) have sold a majority stake to Thai Plastic and Packaging Public Company Limited, giving the company a toehold in the UAE, according to a Thai news report.

PDS Legal advised Sun Packaging Systems (FZC) and its shareholders led by a team of partner Vihang Virkar, executive director Monika Deshmukh and associate Himanshu Garg.

Watson Farley & Williams, via the Dubai office of the international firm, acted for Sun Packaging Systems.

Chandhiok & Mahajan partner Kaushalya Venkataraman and associate Garima Jain acted as Indian counsel for Thai Plastic and Packaging.

Clyde & Co partner Abhimanyu Jalan, senior associate Munisha Khatwani and associate Nisha Johar acted for Thai Plastic and Packaging Public Company Limited.
