The deal pertains to Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited’s acquisition of 55% of the fully paid-up equity share capital of RAK Paints Limited, according to reports.

“Paint maker Kansai Nerolac today said it is in process to acquire 55 per cent equity stake in Bangladesh-based RAK Paints,” reported Business Standard.

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co advised Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited led by a team of partner Dorothy Thomas and principal associate Aniruddha Ghosh, with associate Shruthi Lakshmi and associate Nithya R assisting on the legal due diligence.
