SAM, JSA act on $124m Blackstone buy in Indiabulls

“Indiabulls Real Estate (IBREL) on Friday announced sale of its office project in Chennai to global investor Blackstone for Rs 850 crore as part of its strategy to monetise commercial asset,” reported Mint.

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, and Kirkland & Ellis also acted for Blackstone.

J Sagar Associates (JSA) partner Lalit Kumar acted for Indiabulls.

I don't get it - what's your beef with having names of team members? Is greater recognition for associate contribution to a transaction worrisome? This comes up on LI all the time - it's so cringe inducing.

At least SAM acknowledges the effort made my everyone. Even if they have done less than 5-10 hours of work. Much better approach than only acknowledging headline partners/ deal team.
