Trilegal, Goodwins help ex-Sequoia execs’ A91 Partners fund raise $350m

A91 Partners, a venture capital firm floated by three former Sequoia executives, Gautam Mago, VT Bharadwaj and Abhay Pandey has held its first and only closing earlier this week. The fund raised approximately $350 million from a large number of investors, which includes development finance institutions, fund of funds, family offices, insurance companies and also high net worth individuals. The fund platform proposes to invest in companies that require funding for expansion in their growth phase, according to VCCircle.

Trilegal advised A91 Partners and its founders Gautam Mago, VT Bharadwaj and Abhay Pandey led by a team of partners Ganesh Rao and Aditya Jha, counsel Yash Bansal, senior associate Rayan Azmi and associates Kanika Satyan; Sharanya Sukumar; Vivek Shah and Nupur Agrawal.

Goodwin Procter acted as co-fund counsel, with limited partners engaging their own respective legal counsel.
