Update: All India Bar Exam VI results promised for tomorrow (28 Feb)

The results for the sixth All India Bar Exam (AIBE) should have been published on the official website on 25 February, according to an announcement on the official AIBE website at http://allindiabarexamination.com/, but so far the results are not yet accessible.

Update 27 February: A ticker on the AIBE website, which is operated by Bar Council of India (BCI) contractor ITeS Horizon Pvt Ltd, stated that the results for the sixth AIBE would be announced no later than tomorrow:

Result for AIBE-VI would be declared latest by tomorrow i.e 28th February, 2014.

So far no specific link has been published for the sixth AIBE results, though pages are still active to check results of AIBE IV and V.

The exam took place on 19 January 2014.

Calls to the telephone helplines provided on the AIBE website were not picked up or the numbers were disconnected. BCI officials were not available for comment at the time of going to press.

Actually, I stand corrected, they had a separate link for AIBE V, but a separate VI page is not yet up...

I have personally visited the Bar Council of India Office & they have specified that they are facing some technical problem and It should probably be out and updated by Thursday that is 27th Feb 2014 evening.

Thank you Anvesh. BCI doesnt seem to care much on updating people. What is worse is that it is our own advocate body and we elect our representatives at BCI !

They were facing technical problems right from day one in conducting the AIBE VI - 2014. They changed the dates, venues, cancelled in some centres/locations etc. They are ill-equipped with the art of conducting a thorough Professionals examination.

Feeling extremely sorry for you that your personal visit also proved futile! Till 11 hours 59 minutes, 59 seconds on 27th February 2014 leave alone results, nothing was declared. Not even an apology for the flaw!
The BCI by showing deaf ears has not only broken the trust of lakhs of inspiring students but their aspiring sentiments too which have expired by now.

Mockery of the AIBE VI results is active and doing the rounds since 25/02/2014.
First of all the All India Bar Enrollment examination is a wasteful exercise,
a sheer waste of resources,
criminal waste of time apart from the monetary expenses forced upon the students even after having passed the LLB course by the Bar Council of India when they are so poorly equipped. Adding to the misery is that students are tested with the books and notes at their disposal.

Well, that's how even I used to think till I wrote the exam. 70% of those who wrote the exam at my centre found the exam "very tough" and were pretty sure they wouldn't be able to pass. This, despite the fact that all of them knew that it is an open book exam and carried considerable material with them!

That tells us a lot about the quality of law graduates that our law colleges are dishing out every year. This exam is meant to filter out those hundreds of people. And trust me, you really don't want such people to crowd up our courts as practising lawyers!

It dose,t make difference if the results are declared by 25th or 28th. Due to some unavoidable reasons they postponed the result. Its our duty to respect our profession and our seniors. Commenting that not picking the phone and disconnecting the phone. How many phone calls they will attend with our doing their regular work. They also know's that the phone call is related to Results. If they are working for our sake is it good to disturb then by calling again and again.

just think once.

The time came very soon our results will be announced.

AIBE is totally break their promise and go back for their responsibility for the result update on website...........how careless and irresponsible persons are appointed in the office.........very bad and shame for the AIBE..............

i had completed 3 degrees but this is the first time where the bar council is irresponsible to declare the result , not replying to the mail r calls. if the bar council is irresponsible then other departments will react. i ashamed to be bar member.

There is no transparency in the exam conducted, friends. A friend of mine is shell shocked after the results were declared as "Fail". Could there be an inadvertent error like earlier occasion?
