The eighth All India Bar Exam (AIBE) has been postponed from its scheduled date of 15 March 2015 to 24 May 2015 “as per the Council decision”, according to a notification on the official AIBE website:

Reshceduled examination Date for AIBE-VIII

( Notification No: AIBE/WS/053) (13^th February, 2015)

“As per the Council decision, the examination date for AIBE-VIII has been postponed to 24th May, 2015 and therefore the registration date has also been extended. The new date schedule for AIBE-VIII will soon be updated.” [sic etc]

A year ago the AIBE was postponed by a month after a delay web re-design, while fees for the exam had doubled.

Last date for payment of challan for online and offline application: 24 April 2015

Last date for receiving offline application forms at BCI Delhi: 28 April 2015 (5pm)

Final online release of admit cards: 16 May 2015

Date of examination: 24 May 2015*****

*Council reserves the right to extend the said examination date in case of unavoidable circumstances. In that case, any request for refund/adjustment of fee shall not be entertained.
