Inspired by Reddit, this Saturday, 29 August between 9 and 10pm, Legally India founder and editor Kian Ganz will try to answer any question, however fundamental or incidental to the legal profession, in a one-hour Ask-Me-Anything (AMA) session on Facebook.

We’re hoping to provide readers with a better glimpse into how LI works and what makes us tick.

Please ask your questions as a comment on our Facebook post or as a comment below this story.

We will maintain anonymity unless requested otherwise.

How will Kian answer the questions at 5pm (see the headline) when they'll be asked between 9-10pm?

That's a very good point, thank you for the first question! :)

The headline is totally wrong, no idea why I wrote 5pm. It's at 9pm, have corrected. :)

So, to clarify, you can ask live at 9pm on Saturday, or ask in advance to allow us to prepare a little bit.

Kian, where are you from? You seem to be from Bombay, though your ambigious ethnicity is a little difficult to place. You sound and look white. But evidently you are Indian. How did you end up going to Britain? And why did you come back? What made you think you could build this website into a functioning business? Did you know a lot of people in the Indian legal industry when you came back? A lot of questions, I know, but your story is quite interesting!

Hi Kian.You mentioned that its a good idea to publish with newspapers like Mint, ET etc. I have tried doing that but these papers seem to be non-responsive. I was wondering if you can share emails of contact persons in those newspapers as I find it hard to get my paper across. You can PM at . Many thanks.

Rather late but I Hope Kian does answer. About the foreign law firms, I know you said dicey in the next 2 years, but do you think that 4-5 years down the road it'll happen? Also, will it help law students in the job market, the way the AMSS split led to jobs being available aplenty and starting salaries going up too? Or will the prediction of some Indian firm partners come true and these foreign firms incur losses for a few years to break the market and then do as they please?
